la verdad que si queda con esos colores, el coche va a ser feo de cojones (y perdón por la expresión, pero tiene traca la combinación, al menos podrían "unificar" el amarillo y el naranja para que quedara algo que contentara a los dos patrocinadores y no desmereciera mucho el conjunto final.

El R25 si que era una pasada, me encantaba, también el mclaren del 2007, visto en vivo era una auténtica belleza.

Por cierto lo de Kovichis quien lo ha escrito????, es que...... nadie diría que no ha sido algún periodistillo (asi los llamais vosotros no?) español....... aysssssss, fijate por donde que el del As tenía razón........ quien os lo iba a decir jejeje.

No soy precisamente simpatizante de Mclaren pero con la temporada que se ha marcado rematada con tan solo 10 puntos en las últimas seis carreras es que debería besar los pies a Ron Dennis por mantenerle en el equipo.

Honda looking to sell F1 team by Christmas?

Multiple sources are now reporting that Honda Racing F1 is being put up for sale and that if the sale is not completed by Christmas the team will be closed down. There is no confirmation from any Honda company officials, but teams across Europe are reporting that they have received a rush of applications from Honda F1 personnel in the course of the day.

The fact that the team is not responding to requests for statements is a bad sign, as if the rumours are not correct they would need to be killed as quickly as possible.

The official announcement of such a move is unlikely to come from the United Kingdom and thus the F1 world is waiting for Japan to wake up in around five or six hours to see if the news will be made official by the company.

Given the lack of credit available in the world at the moment it is not going to be easy for Honda to find a buyer, although big companies that might have an interest in running their own Formula 1 team do exist.

We will keep you informed as more news come to light.

Honda dejará la F1 antes de marzo de 2009

Después de los numerosos rumores surgidos durante el jueves, y a la espera de una confirmación, todo parece indicar que la escudería Honda Racing dejará la Fórmula Uno antes de marzo de 2009.


Las últimas horas han producido especulaciones sobre el futuro del equipo japonés, que tras mantener una reunión urgente podría haber comunicado a sus empleados que no participará en el próximo mundial de Fórmula Uno.

La noticia ha hecho que muchos de los ingenieros de Honda Racing se pusiesen en contacto con otras escudería durante la tarde para pedir empleo, aunque la empresa japonesa no despedirá a ninguno de ellos pero sí aceptará marchas voluntarias.

Así mismo, Honda intentará buscar un comprador durante los tres próximos meses, pero de no ser así, cerrará completamente la base de operaciones en Brackley, Reino Unido.

La desaparición del equipo Honda de la Fórmula Uno significa que ni Rubens Barrichello ni Jenson Button tendrán un asiento en el próximo mundial. Además, la noticia será un golpe para el joven Bruno Senna, quien esperaba hacerse con un hueco en la escudería tras haber entrenado con ellos recientemente.

Motor racing-Honda given a month to sell F1 team or close
LONDON, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Honda have put their Formula One
team up for sale and will close it down if no buyer is found by
the end of the year, a senior source at a rival team told
Reuters on Thursday.
"They have a month to find a buyer, otherwise they are
closing the team," the source quoted Honda team bosses Ross
Brawn and Nick Fry as telling a meeting of the Formula One
Teams' Association (FOTA).

Honda will announce tomorrow morning that it is withdrawing from Formula 1.

It is putting its team up for sale and will continue to fund the team for three months, but if no buyer is found by March then the team will be closed down.

The team was addressed by team principal Ross Brawn this evening and he explained the situation to the workforce.

As today was a FOTA meeting in Geneva it is likely that the news was broken there and has leaked out from other teams initially.

Honda has its car factories in Japan working part-time shifts, owing to the collapse in the automobile sales market and clearly the management feel that they can no longer justify spending up to £200 million a year on F1, even if cost-cutting measures are in the pipeline.

Too much time has been wasted in agreeing a package of measures as the FIA and Williams management have been warning for months.

The news is a major shock, because Honda is one of the most profitable of the car makers currently engaged in F1.

If they can make this decision, so can the others.

This is a major moment for the sport and I imagine Bernie Ecclestone and Max Mosley will be ringing around frantically this evening ensuring that the remaining teams are solid.

Toyota are the ones most are nervous about. They may use the withdrawal of their major rival as an excuse to get out, should they feel the conditions demand it.

Mosely is likely to use this difficult situation to reiterate that radical cost-cutting measures need to be taken with immediate effect.

He is entitled to say, "I told you so" and although he'll take no pleasure from it, he will have been proved right.

Honda has a track record of sudden withdrawals, pulling out of Williams in 1987 to switch to McLaren and then withdrawing from F1 altogether in 1992.

Honda took full ownership of the BAR team in 2005 and the highlight of its brief career was Jenson Button's win at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2006.

The Financial Times newspaper recently wrote that the team was the highest spending of the F1 outfits and had got through £147 million in 2007, about £40 million more than McLaren.

They added 100 new staff - taking the total to 667 - and were investing heavily in the Ross Brawn plan for the future.

The news will be a savage blow to Button, who renewed his contract with the team shortly before the Japanese Grand Prix.

With all the top seats filled and on the back of an indifferent season, Button will be feeling nervous about his prospects for 2009.

It is only hearsay at this stage but I understand that it will be confirmed in the next few hours, when Tokyo opens for business.

I understand that the package being put up for sale does not involve the potential new owner running Honda engines but instead involves Ferrari engines, a deal which one imagines Ross Brawn would have put together.

Está claro que no se puede gastar tanto dinero para nada.

Lo primero que me ha venido a la cabeza ha sido que menos que Alonso se ha quedado en Renault!!

¿Pero no tenían un coche tan avanzado?

Me imagino que la decisión la propiciado la crisis económica.

Qué pena. Esto de la F1 no va bien, y no se arregla con medallas y GP´s nocturnos.

Por cierto, Button puede ser un competidor duro por los asientos que queden libres. Tiene tirón.

Pues mala noticia si mañana se confirma el adiós de Honda en la F1. ¿Se lanzará Agag a comprar el paquete de Honda? ¿Lo harán magnates árabes?¿tal vez nos sorprenda Abramovich? ¿no nos quedaremos con 18 monoplazas?.
Lo mas probable es que sea esto último con lo que veremos si la FIA admite 18 coches o se las ingenian como buenamente puedan. No os extrañe que dejen meter a los equipos un tercer piloto los viernes y los dos mejores terceros tomen parte en la salida del Gran Premio sin derecho a sumar puntos para la escudería, solo puntuando ellos.
Centrándonos en la noticia, al igual que en Toyota algo se a hecho mal en Honda, ya sea mala política de pilotos, empleados que no han estado a la altura o lo que sea porque por presupuesto no será.
Los danmificados también son Button y Barrichello que se verán sin volante al igual que Senna y Di Grassi que luchaban por arrebatarle el asiento a Barrichello. Los dos últimos se quedarán fuera de F al menos un añito a no ser que encuentren algo como tester. Barrichello se vería obligado a una retirada forzosa mientras que Button al menos tendrá un año sabático ya que dudo que Toro Rosso apueste por el. Si así fuera sería un duro competidor para Buemi, Sato y Bourdais.

Hay sitios que dicen 20 coches mínimo y en otros 16. En el Concorde Agreement pactado en su día pone 16, artículo 10.4, que luego lo cambiaron a 20 ni idea.

increible!! si tenian puestas todas sus esperenzas para este año,no? con ross brawn a la cabeza supuestamente un proyecto apasionante, diciendo(corregirme si me equivoco) que este año se iban a ganar carreras que el coche iba a ser muy competitivo, y repito con ross brawn al frente,intentado fichar a FA, y ahora esto.. no entiendo, en fin supongo que estas cosas solo pasan en la F1, saludos
