También dar las gracias a Yossi y que siempre se tome las molestias en buscarnos un enlace. Esta vez pude cogerlo por el mismoc anal que nos puso la otra vez pero veo que esta web es muy variable en cuanto a su programación deportiva.
En cuanto a la carrera pues creo que confirma lo que la calificación nos ha dicho y es que Senna, Pantano y Grosjean están en otro mundo. Tal vez el retorno de Di Grassi les ponga las cosas algo mas difíciles pero ya veremos.
Hay que destacar que la mala suerte se ha cebado con Grosjean y Senna ya que diversas averias les han dejado fuera de carrera cuando Grosjean iba a ganar y Senna tenía amarrado un nuevo podio.
En cuanto a los españoles, una pena Soucek ya que se le ha visto buen ritmo pero en la salida se ha quedado clavado retrocediendo hasta ser 22º. También tiene que echarle algo mas de "webs" ya que no ha sido capaz de rebasar a Roldán y Buurman.
Mal Villa y Vallés. Al primero se le acaba el tiempo de hacer algo y su situación empeora al ver como su compañero gana carreras y lidera el campeonato, en cuanto a Vallés sigo insistiendo en que es buen piloto pero BCN no me parece un equipo donde pueda despuntar. Roldán tuvo que abandonar.
Por cierto B.Rosan discrepando contigo creo que la travesía no va a ser tan larga ya que ahí está Alguersuari triunfando en la F3 Británica y con opciones de ganar la F3 Española con lo que creo que este chaval además de ser muy bueno creo que estará en la F1 en un plazo de entre 2 y 4 años.

Lo que ocurre con VILLA es que lo han encumbrado sin hacer practicamente nada, y de ahí el chasco/decepción. Vale que no es mal piloto, pero nimucho menos está entre los de cabeza. Mucho le dió a la lenga De Orleans cuando su pupilo ganó su primera carrera en GP2 (carrera de domingo, por supuesto), caundo proclamaba que era incluso mejor que Alonso... De verdad que pocas oportunidades como las que ha tenido, llegarán a tenerlas otros pilotos, ni pruebas con equipo de F1, ni estabilidad en un mismo equipo año tras año, ni mismo ingeniero, ni leches.

Yo sigo confiando en Soucek y Vallés, y como no, siguiendo de muy cerca a Argensauri...

Pues si, muy mal fin de semana para los nuestros aunque la locura de carrera que hemos tenido esta mañana ha sido para verla. Salida en pista mojada con muchos pilotos saliendo con ruedas de seco y otros con ruedas de lluvia. Los de lluvia tuvieron que entrar a cambiar y los que optaron por seco acabaron arriba.
Mal los nuestros. Lo de Villa es para darle un toque muy serio ya mientras que de Vallés no voy a repetir lo de siempre. En Soucek confío bastante porque a pesar de que ha tenido mala suerte parece que ritmo para estar en zona media-alta tiene. En cuanto a Roldán mucho futuro no le veo al chico.

Pantano wins thriller at Silverstone

Giorgio Pantano, Silverstone, 2008Giorgio Pantano extended his lead in the GP2 Series with a brilliant victory in Saturday's feature race at Silverstone, topping an outstanding, incident-packed event.

Pantano started fifth, but made immediate headway when the slow-starting Romain Grosjean forced Andi Zuber to lift at the first corner, allowing Pantano to grab fourth. Bruno Senna led from pole, with Lucas di Grassi passing fellow Renault protege Grosjean off the line.

Senna set fastest lap on the third tour, to forge a convincing lead, only to run wide at Stowe and lose four places as he fought for control on the grass.

He gained one back almost immediately, as Zuber had a huge spin at Vale a lap later, almost wiping Pantano out, but dropping himself to 12th.

Di Grassi now led, and pulled away as Grosjean battled with Pantano, with Senna still in touch too. Further back, Karun Chandhok, who was making superb progress from 10th on the grid, pulled off a superb move around the outside of Andy Soucek at Stowe corner. A couple of laps later, he dived past Luca Filippi to take fifth at Brooklands.

The mandatory pitstops started on lap 15 for the leaders, with Grosjean, Pantano and di Grassi stopping in successive laps. This didn't change the top three, but thanks to a charge on new tyres after an early stop, Kamui Kobayashi leapt up to fourth, only to lose it when his car ground to a halt at half distance.

Zuber too had also stopped early, and leapt ahead of the iSport cars of Chandhok and Senna, which had swapped places in the pitstops when Bruno had to brake to miss di Grassi, who had been released directly into his path.

Pantano attacked second-placed Grosjean for lap after lap, finally finding a way past at Abbey after a bout of wheel-banging under braking. He was 3.7secs behind leader di Grassi, but carved into his advantage.

With six laps remaining, Pantano caught him and pulled off a spectacular move that started at Stowe and ended at Club, as di Grassi did not give his lead up without a fight. Pantano eased away to a 4sec victory - and seta a new record for total GP2 wins (eight), eclipsing the tally he previously shared with Timo Glock.

Behind them, Chandhok and Senna caught Grosjean, who was struggling for pace with tyres that were completely shot. After aborting a pass Chandhok made under waved yellows on Grosjean at Stowe, Sebastien Buemi took the chance to jump past Senna a couple of corners later, making it a four-way fight for the final spot on the podium.

Chandhok grabbed third from Grosjean with just two laps to go with a decisive lunge at Brooklands. Moments later, Senna repassed Buemi at Becketts, only to lose the place again by running wide at Stowe.

On the next lap, it was Buemi who gained a place, passing Grosjean for fourth at Becketts, with Senna making it three abreast for a hair-raising moment. On the final lap, Senna drove around the outside of Grosjean at Stowe, only to throw the place away with a trip across the gravel at Priory, costing himself a vital point.

Pantano now leads the championship by 13 points from Senna, with Buemi now passing Grosjean for third in the standings.

Bueno, Di Grassi se mete entre el trío formado por Grosjean, Pantano y Senna que eran los que estaban un pié por encima del resto y eso es bueno para el espectáculo. Aunque haya entrado tarde hay que tener en cuenta a Di Grassi que puede dar algún sustito.
En cuanto a los españoles, regular Soucek ya que le esperaba en los puntos tras salir 7º. Al menos ha superado a �lvaro Parente.
Villa regular tirando a mal, de nuevo muy lejos de los mejores y Alfonso de Orleans debe empezar a plantearse muy en serio si se equivocó o no al darle tanta confianza a Villa.
Roldán regular tirando a bien. Mejor de lo que esperaba saliendo tan atrás aunque me sigue haciendo gracia que quisiera entrar en F1 con ese rendimiento.
Vallés. No Comments. Demasiado atrás. Espero que haya sido por una carrera en la que ha sufrido tantos problemas ya que aunque su año está siendo difícil no creo que esté tan atrás por falta de calidad.

Sergio Perez took his 4th win of the season, and his first podium finish since Monza, after getting a great start in Round 14 at Brands Hatch. The Mexican was under pressure from Marcus Ericsson for the entire race but the Swede made a mistake two corners from home, spinning off into the barriers and promoting Atte Mustonen and Oliver Turvey to the final podium places. In the National Class it was a 1-2 for T Sport as Steven Guerrero scored his second win leading home teammate Salman Al Khalifa, with Jay Bridger in 3rd.

Twenty seven cars lined up on the grid for Round 14, including the Ultimate Mygale of Alistair Jackson, the Ulsterman being given the all clear by the medics after his heavy accident in Round 13. At the start it was Ericsson who led the field away but it was second placed Perez who got an even better getaway to get alongside the Swedish driver into Paddock Hill and sweep into the lead. Oliver Turvey also got the drop on his Carlin teammate Jaime Alguersuari to slot into 4th behind Atte Mustonen at the first corner. John Martin stalled on the grid and once he had fired the Mercedes engine into life he set off in last place.

Perez had Ericsson Fortec Dallara filling his rear view mirrors as they crossed the line for the first time, followed by Mustonen, Turvey, Alguersuari, Hartley and Tandy.

As the laps counted down the leading pair continued to circulate with just 0.3 seconds separating them as they pulled away from third placed Mustonen who was having the fend off the attentions of Turvey.

On lap 8 Martin O'Connell in the #56 Carlin Motorsport Dallara came into the pits to change a rear tyre after he went off at Clearways. O'Connells second Formula 3 race since 2001 ended a few laps later. Alistair Jackson also retired after he pulled into the pits.

On lap 15 Ericsson started to line Perez up for a pass but the Mexican defended well causing the Swede to lose ground for the rest of the lap. Brendon Hartley was another casualty when his Carlin Dallara pulled off at Graham Hill Bend.

As the race entered the final Marcus Ericsson was still right behind the leading T Sport Dallara but it looked as if he would have to settle for second place after Perez had soaked up all the pressure Ericsson could throw at him. However it was Ericsson who cracked and two corners from the Fortec Dallara went straight on and into the barriers. Perez crossed the line in first place, three seconds ahead of Atte Mustonen, with Oliver Turvey claiming his second podium of the weekend.
