No lo sabes bien tu jajajaja. Y como este año repitan los de Audi y Peugeot en sus paginas web las cámaras on board en directo las 24 horas voy a volver a 'mutar'.

Muy interesante (aunque lo leeré entero esta noche ), un detalle del artículo, paso por la curva Porsche:

Falta por ver que hará el Highcroft (el que estuvo dandole la murga a los Peugeot en Sebring) pero los gasolina salvo el ORECA están incluso más lejos que hace años (algo que a mí por lo menos me ha sorprendido). Ojo con el R18 que me parece que puede pasarles la mano por la cara a base de bien a los 908. Por los pocos videos que pude 'rapiñar' se vio que el coche iba sobre railes, como si fuese un Red Bull. Todavía queda un mes y algo más pero a Peugeot se le han puesto de corbata.

Por cierto ya que estoy en este post dejar lo siguiente (que por cierto confirma mi ultrapesimismo que mostre desde el día que vi el AMR One):

Aston Martin to miss Spa


Aston Martin will not compete at next weekend's Spa 1000km in order to focus on the development of its AMR-One ahead of the Le Mans 24 Hours.

The AMR-One had originally been scheduled to make its debut at the Sebring 12 Hours in March, but instead ran competitively for the first time at the opening round of the Le Mans Series at Paul Ricard instead.

Last weekend's Le Mans test proved problematic for the squad as the car developed an issue with its engine plasma cylinder lining.

"We could go to the Spa 1000km race in May, but this race meeting will set an agenda for us that doesn't allow us to achieve what we need to accomplish," said Aston Martin Racing chairman David Richards.

"We need to complete our testing at our own pace including engine, aero and long distance tests."

Two cars had been due to race at Spa with Stefan Mucke, Darren Turner and Christian Klien in one and Andy Meyrick, Harold Primat and Adrian Fernandez sharing the other.

Es cierto que la recta sin chicanes era pituda pituda pero con la epoca en la que vivimos en la que la seguridad es lo que prima es normal que intenten acotar al máximo los riesgos. Aunque siempre nos quedarán las curvas Porsche.

Este sábado tenemos los 1.000 km de Spa, y tiene pinta de que van a estar muy apretados entre Peugeot y Audi...

Además de Gené, tenemos a Lucas Ordoñez (LMP2) y a Maxi Cortés (LMP1). Sin embargo, Antonio Cargía no estará con su Corvette. Otras ausencias importantes serán las de Aston Martin y Highcroft (Honda-Wirth)

Bernhard gives Audi pole at Spa


Timo Bernhard gave Audi's new R18 TDI pole position for its race debut at the Spa 1000km, the second round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup.

Bernhard's lap of 2m01.502s was set early in the session and gave the German the top top spot by 0.286s ahead of Andre Lotterer. It was an all-Audi top three as Tom Kristensen qualified third.

As planned, none of the factory Peugeots took to the track until late on, but all three were caught out as Matthieu Lahaye crashed his Oak Pescarolo on the straight before Pouhon.

The high-speed impact caused heavy damage to the front end of the car and brought out the red flags. With the crash barrier in question significantly damaged and no chance of repairing quickly, a decision was taken to end the session while six minutes remained on the clock.

This ensured that Marc Gene was unable to improve on his 13th spot on the grid, and left him as the best of the factory Peugeot drivers. Simon Pagenaud was only 18th while Stephane Sarrazin did not complete a flying lap and will start 50th.

The early stoppage was good news for Nicolas Lapierre, who put his ORECA Peugeot fourth, ahead of Nicolas Prost's Rebellion Lola, the best-placed petrol-powered car.

Danny Watts secured pole in the LMP2 class in his Strakka HPD with a flying lap that was just 0.1s quicker than Mathias Beche's TDS ORECA.

Jaime Melo took pole in the GT2 Pro category in the AF Corse Ferrari he shares with Toni Vilander, his best effort coming six minutes from the end of the session.

Rob Bell and Giancarlo Fisichella made it an all-Ferrari top three with British driver Bell 0.2s off Melo's pace in his JMW-run 458 and grand prix winner Fisichella next up in the second AF Corse car.

Marc Lieb put the best of the Porsches - the Felbermayr car - fourth while Augusto Farfus was BMW's fastest driver in fifth. Andy Priaulx was seventh quickest in the sister M3, but spun at the Bus Stop chicane on his final flying lap.

Pole in GT2 Am went to Nicolas Armindo's IMSA Porsche ahead of four of the Pro cars, while Brit Phil Keen was the fastest driver in the Formula Le Mans class in the Neil Garner Motorsport ORECA.

Las batallas que tuvimos/tenemos/tendremos vamos a tener este año en resistencia son de ordago a la grande. Ojito con los AUDI que tienen pinta de haber fabricado un pepino histórico.

Es un Zytek con KERS, hasta ahora era considerado híbrido, pero a partir de esta carrera le quitan los privilegios y será simplemente un coche con KERS. Sale 9º en la categoría principal tras la devacle de los Peugeot por la bandera roja.

El coche de Maxi sale 9º y lleva el nº 23.
