Nas a to@s... ante todo pedir disculpas porque ando muy apurado de tiempo y no podre hacer la cronica como quisiera ni escribir tanto en el foro como me gustaría... pero haremos un intento Smile .

La verdad es que ayer .. se me quedo una cara de tonto suprema... sip, creo que es la primera vez desde que llevo jugando al GPL que me pasan varias cosas.. y la verdad es que es fustrante.. por decirlo de una forma... es como cuando dicen una de cal y otra de arena... pues ni que al pelo.
La carrera fue entretenidisima dentro de lo aburrido que puede ser dar vueltas y vueltas a un óvalo, tuve unas sensaciones espectaculares, disfrute.. me enfade, aprete.. eso es el objetivo de este simulador.. (ogle he dicho simulador eh...).
Comence los entrenos con carga de combustible completa, no habia hecho nunca una tanda larga asi que fui directo al grano, tras estar muchas vueltas por la posicion 8 y 9 consigo pillar porfin un coche y tras ponerle el consiguiente gancho me coloco 4º GENIAL... drake tras unas vueltas de choques me preparo para la carrera.

Que gusto.. ese nerviosismo.. acariciar el volante antes de empezar.. chequeo rutinario.. pedales, pantalla, visualizacion generica.. aire... una gran bocanada... levantan la bandera... dios como suena... todos en marcha... no salgo rapido, pero no salgo mal me coloco tercero, por detras me parece ver una montonera... no importa.. lo primero es lo primero.. a saco paco.... se que no desgasto los neumaticos y puedo rodar en 45 desde la 2ª vuelta.. alli que voy.. no esta mal.. ya he bajado mi PB casi 3 decimas asi que estoy contento.. lesmes esta delante y lo pillo poco a poco.. parece que voy mas rapido... si 6 vueltas me cuesta pillarlo.. tras un poco de vergunenza por aqui.. una preucacion por alla decido pasarlo en recta... y,,, entonces aparece Lesmes pata de palo... drake y su garfio... se engancha y asi hacemos un monton de vueltas hasta que yo creo que por un doblado pierde un momento el rebufo y lo pierdo de vista.. 1, 2, 3.. 7... no esta mal.. delante manel... es como un pepino el tio.. piso y piso y na.. alli se mantiene... incluso empieza a aumentar su ventaja... 1.3 , 1.5.....2.2 vuelta 26 esta todo controlado.. seguimos ... pienso que el resultado va a ser asi.. vamos muy comodos los 2, los doblados lo ponen muy facil.. y llega la primera sorpresa del dia... veo un baile de pilotos.. algo pasa... DIOSSSSSSS pero que es eso... manel se estampa contra un ferrari creo recordar... ¿como es posible que ocupen los 3 carriles?.. por abajo... no por arriba,.. no por el med...... PRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII crashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh pelea me lo como de lleno... freno todo lo que puedo... el coche se me va.. freno... reduzco freno... enderezo veo que pasan coches pero no se cuantos.. me marca 5 .. al pasar por linea de meta 3º... no se que ha pasado.. pienso en manel... pero poco.. el letrero me marca un manel +1 ... vaya... piso todo lo que puedo... la cabeza ya es impensable, Albert +12, y Lemes Pata de Palo + 11 imposible.. manel es una maquina, se acerca decima a decima y finalmente me pilla el rebufo..imposible de parar es una maquina... decido no molestarle mucho por dos razones.. una porque era mas rapido y lo unico que haria seria que los 2 nos fueramos a la calle, y 2º porque creo que se lo merecia ya que el era 1º con todas las de la ley y sino hubiese sido por el golpe seria 1º. aun asi.. decido actuar cual vil sanguijuela y ponerme detras... dios como corre ese coche 5 vueltas para el final.. pienso en pasarle.. estudio los sitios y se que puedo.. a final de recta siempre freno para dejarle pasar, pero estoy seguro de que lo puedo pasar, aun asi decido no hacerlo hasta la ultima vuelta para que el no me lo pueda hacer a mi... me marco un impressive 45.1 ni yo me lo creo... bajo casi 7 decimas mi pb... vueltas 4... sigo enganchado como una vil sanguijuela y en verdad vamos como una bala bala lesmes se acerca y se acerca... pienso en la ultima recta... pasar a manel y con el rebufo a lesmes... es posible... y mas después viendo los tiempos... vueltas 3 estoy pletorico... como me lo estoy pasando... vueltas 2... y llega el desastre... tras salir de una curva acelero a tope para pillar a manel.. esta vuelta es sagrada... y PUMMMMMMMMM lloro no me lo puedo creer... humo negro... 1 vuelta para el final.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOO no puede ser... pienso que el motor se ha roto del todo.. no sigue ... pero al 65% de la potencia.. el coche asi parece una tortuga.. me pasan.. no puede ser... paso la meta... finalmente 7º no puede ser... me quedo en el volante mirando.. aprieto el boton de comunicacion.. solo me sale un joder... en el box no me contestan... me bajo del coche... y me voy con una sensacion agridulce..

Buenos días
Tras la "resaca" de emoción del GP, confirmado:

"Diversión a raudales" (Memo dixit ). "Tremendamente adictivo" (Julián apuntilló). Cada vez más...

"...gran resultado del GURNEY TEAM, por otra parte esperado... y es que cuando se trata de velocidad nadie puede con nuestros grandes tiburones azules " (Manel). No sólo cuando "se trata de velocidad" , como en Daytona.

Imponente estuvo Sergi que mantuvo su liderato "casi" toda la carrera, aguantando con firmeza la presión y los ataques sin cesar del rápido, rapidísimo, Grego . Lo cierto es que había momentos en que nos quitabais el aliento, sobre todo en las 14 últimas vueltas. Íbamos comentando: "ay, ay, ay... ¡ahora!", cada vez que Grego se proponía pasar. Bueno, desde el "mapa" del GPL-tv se apreciaba esa proximidad de los "puntitos" (no sólo en vuestro caso, porque hubo mucha lucha en otras posiciones de carrera) y yo "veía" mentalmente a Grego mostrando toda su artillería para adelantar. Vamos, casi como Alonso a Schumacher en Ímola 2006 . Situación muy parecida.
Vencer esa presión, Sergi, en el caso de alguien como tú que sólo ha competido en 2 carreras oficiales, imagino que debe de dar una satisfacción inmensa.
Como la gran satisfacción que sentía yo ayer también por el magnífico resultado de Danich . 3º en el podio, en una carrera muy dura, y ahuyentando la "mala suerte" que en demasiadas ocasiones se llevaba al traste sus carreras y buenas actuaciones. ¡Qué bien!

Enhorabuena a los tres podiumistas muy especialmente ¡Aplausos!

En realidad, aplausos para todos los pilotillos. Aun lamentando mucho "incidentes" y demás "malas patas" que también protagonizaron ayer en Kyalami "líos gordos" . Me preguntaba por qué ayer tanto...Si se debe sólo al circuito y su dificultad, si casi siempre se da en esas posiciones medias de parrilla (la gente está ansiosa por "avanzar" ), si la tensión cada vez más alta por el excelente nivel que va incrementándose progresivamente (¡qué tiempazos! ) ayuda mucho a que pase... En fin, no sé, pero si me gustaría que lo comentarais. Como he leído a Memo, quizas cada vez hará "más calor" .

¡Gran carrera! ¡Magnífico espectáculo!

PD: me apena mucho lo sucedido a Cosworth . Las normas son las normas, pero... ¡vaya mala suerte! Me quedo con el buen sabor de su vuelta rápida y desde aquí le traspaso todo mi ánimo para demostrar quién es!!!

Tras unos días angustiosos en los que no conseguía encontrar el motivo de los CTD, al final opté por borrar todas las mejoras gráficas de coches (incluído el cockpit de mi Lotus ) y objetos y todos los sonidos y conseguí terminar.

Salí muy prudente y me pasó algún coche, mi compañero Mardor entre ellos (para lo que le iba a servir…)
Con la inevitable montonera, esta vez en T2, mi coche salió volando, pero caí de cuatro plátanos y no tuve que reiniciar, por lo que creo que llegué a rodar 5º o 6º por detrás de Carlos, al que al intentar adelantar al final de las eses, me salí para evitar comérmelo y me pasaron dos pilotillos, dejándome en P9.
Cuando pude dar cuenta de Carlos, me situé 8º y rodé solo toda toda la carrera, con los típicos bajones de concentración traducidos en salidas de pista o toques con las vallas o los neumáticos agazapados en las cunetas hasta que ví que Philip me iba recortando tiempo vuelta a vuelta pero cuando estaría a un par de segundos dejé de verlo y vuelta a la soledad. Al final, P7 que no sirve más que para llevarme unos puntos, los primeros de este Campeonato, y con la alegría de haber hecho PB (a una décima del negativo) y haber solucionado los problemas técnicos.

Estará mal que yo lo diga, pero: ¡¡¡¡CÓMO ME GUSTA ESTE FORMATO!!!!

Y como dice F399, ánimo que quedan plazas libres y el Campeonato es muuuuy largo...

Una carrera sin mucha historia pero que me deja muy contento por haber marcado mi PB en entrenos y por lograr clasificarme para la A. También por el ritmo que conseguí llevar siguiendo a Franky sin forzar y sin arriesgar y, sobre todo, sin cometer errores de bulto.

En entrenos estuve bastante rato en la pole hasta que en los momentos finales me pasaron Pilotillo y Sergiomora y, en su último intento, Franky. Yo había hecho un 1:48,79, mi PB, un tiempo con el que ni soñaba hace una semana, así que sabía que más no podía hacer. De todas formas Thund estaba quinto a más de un segundo lo que por un lado me daba seguridad pero por otro inquietud ya que sé que tanto él como Calamarr son buenos corredores de carrera, muy regulares, y que cualquier fallo tonto me podría sacar de los puestos que daban derecho a ascenso.

Pero todo se aclaró en la salida. Como muy bien ha relatado Franky, él, Sergio y Pilotillo tuvieron sus más y sus menos en T2 y, aunque yo intentando esquivarles rocé uno de los infames neumáticos anclados en el asfalto, pude pasar entre ellos directamente al liderato. Pero no me duró mucho: al salir de la zona de las eses me sobrepasaron tanto Franky como Nieva (estratosférica salida) en aceleración (hice fatal la última curva de las eses). Sin embargo, al llegar a la recta alcancé el rebufo de Nieva con facilidad y le superé en la frenada para T1.

Así se estabilizó mi carrera durante muchas vueltas, Franky un segundo por delante y Nieva a dos, tres, cuatro, cinco... hasta que finalmente desapareció. Ahora tenía detrás a Sergiomora. Sabía que él es más rápido que yo, pero con diez segundos de ventaja sabía que no tendría muy fácil cogerme en diez vueltas o así que quedaban. Pero entonces ocurrió el susto más grande de la carrera. Mientras seguía a Franky a prudencial distancia por las eses como siempre, salido de la nada de repente había un Ferrari cruzado en toda la trazada... se impuso una maniobra evasiva de ultimísima hora y esquivé a Carlomax por un pelo... Me vi en el césped, retornando a la pista entre dos de los neumáticos en la curva siguiente. Pensé que habría perdido definitivamente a Franky pero no fue así. Enseguida estábamos como antes del susto. Pero el que se había acercado definitivamente era Sergio.

A cada paso por la horquilla le veía llegando a ella. Tras varias vueltas seguía más o menos a la misma distancia, además venía él solo, así que procuré concentrarme en seguir en mi ritmo, lo mismo me valía el segundo puesto que el tercero para clasificarme a la A. De repente dejé de verle al salir de la horquilla y pensé que habría cometido algún fallo que le había alejado definitivamente, pero qué va, lo que pasaba es que se me había acercado y enseguida le tuve llenando mis espejos.

Finalmente me pasó en la frenada para T1 tras cogerme el rebufo. Se lo puse todo lo fácil que pude puesto que lo que menos quería era un accidente a falta ya de tan pocas vueltas. Desgraciadamente para él al siguiente pasó por la recta de meta vi un gran fogonazo salir de la trasera de su Ferrari y recuperé la segunda plaza. A dos vueltas para acabar y con Pilotillo tercero ya a 18 segundos me daba ya por clasificado.

La última vuelta fue curiosa puesto que en la frenada a la horquilla me acerqué a Franky más que nunca. Supongo que estaba asegurando pero por un momento, iluso de mí, pensé que me estaba dejando pasar ya que, como digo, frenó antes y además dejó mucho hueco en el interior: allí me metí y salimos en paralelo para la siguiente curva. De repente vi su rueda delantera derecha a mi lado izquierdo y me acojoné, pensaba que le había dejado atrás, el miedo me hizo frenar, bloquear las ruedas e irme directo al bordillo, con el que choqué de frente. Por suerte seguí sin más problemas hasta la meta en mi segunda posición que tanto me satisfacía.

Una carrera larga y agotadora con muchísima concentración para cuidar el motor y no hacer fallos. Como dice Franky rodamos en plan no agresión ya que las posiciones eran perfectas para los dos y llevábamos un ritmo parecido y creo que bastante bueno.

Espero que la A se me dé igual de bien y que siga acompañando la suerte que me faltó en Daytona.

Estoy muy contento por el resultado que conseguí ayer, el mismo que logré en el I Campeonato (y que fue mi mejor resultado hasta que logré mi primer podio en Spa la temporada siguiente), sólo que entonces fui cuarto de ocho participantes y ayer cuarto de diecinueve (o de veinticinco si contamos todos los clasificados en ambas carreras). Por eso también estoy muy contento, por cómo ha aumentado la participación; gracias a todos, de verdad. Además, y ya en un plano personal, ayer notaba durante la carrera lo muchísimo que ha mejorado mi forma de pilotar en estas temporadas, es sencillamente increíble, y no sólo lo digo por la mejora de tiempos si no por la seguridad en el control del coche y la forma de desenvolverme en carrera. Estoy muy orgulloso, la verdad. Pero pasemos a la carrera en sí.

En entrenamientos, desde la misma vuelta de salida de boxes me sentí muy cómodo, confiado, en total control del coche, así que aunque al principio no bajaba de 49 medios no me preocupé, seguí tirando hasta que finalmente logré un 48 (que a la postre resultó ser mi PB) que era mi objetivo. Una magnífica sexta posición en parrilla.

La salida me la tomé con calma. Franky detrás de mí salió mejor, pero la aceleración del Ferrari me dio la delantera al avanzar la recta; igualmente, aunque salí mejor que Serginho, que me precedía, la potencia del Eagle finalmente le alejó antes de T1 pero al menos me dio el espacio en el exterior tras él que yo buscaba para trazar bien la complicadísima primera curva. Al llegar a ella, Serginho se fue irremisiblemente al exterior y contra las vallas, a mí, por mirarle, me pasó lo mismo, pero lo suficiente para superarle y apenas tocar la valla al final y sólo un pelo y sin perder el control. Una vez pasado el embudo de T2 me vi quinto y deseando tener una primera vuelta tranquila. Tenía a Franky en mis escapes y recordaba perfectamente cómo me pasó en la primera vuelta de la carrera B al salir de la última de las eses... Teniendo esto en cuenta me esforzé en trazarla a la perfección y conservé mi posición en la meta.

Al poco tiempo a quien tenía detrás era Manel, que sería mi perseguidor durante toda la carrera. Por delante, pronto perdí de vista a Danich. Así pasaron muchas vueltas, con Manel a un segundo por detrás y Danich alejándose cada vez más. Lo cierto es que rodé muy tranquilo, no despegaba a Manel de mi trasera pero tampoco él me apretaba demasiado. Tras unas cuantas vueltas juntos pronto me di cuenta que se me echaba más encima en la horquilla pero, cómo no era suficiente para pasarme, me concentré muy mucho en hacerla bien puesto que era el sitio en el que más pensaba que podría fallar, así que, aunque sea difícil de creer, me concentré en hacerla lenta para así hacerla más segura. El caso es que tras tantas vueltas juntos vi que yo me escapaba en las eses (el Ferrari “baila” mejor que el Eagle) así que me concentré muchísimo en hacerlas bien, sobre todo, la última, para no darle la oportunidad de que me cogiera el rebufo al salir de la Peraltada.

Así rodamos muchas vueltas sin muchos agobios, dejando pasar las vueltas y sin forzar el ritmo, si algo he aprendido en estas temporadas es que no hay que intentar correr más rápido de lo que uno puede. Finalmente, no recuerdo muy bien cómo (supongo que salí mal de la última curva de las eses) vi que tenía a Manel muy pegado en la Peraltada. Inevitablemente me cogió el rebufo al salir a la recta y antes de T1 ya estaba delante de mí. Resignado me dispusé a rodar pegado a él en espera de algún error. Pero la suerte estaba de mi parte y no tuve que esperar nada: saliendo de T2, supongo que dio demasiado gas demasiado pronto, perdió el control del coche derrapando lo justo como para devolverme la posición.

Ya hasta al final de carrera rodamos igual que antes, nunca más tuvo oportunidad de adelantarme. Gracias a la retirada de Grego estaba en una magnífica cuarta plaza y me concentré en no cometer ni un error para que Manel no volviera a acercarse. Así fue, incluso en las dos o tres vueltas finales logré un cómodo colchón de dos o tres segundos que me hizo acabar la carrera muy tranquilo.

En resumen, una carrera muy limpia y muy a mi ritmo. Me encanta este circuito. Gracias a Manel una vez más por su caballerosidad en la lucha y a todos los demás enhorabuena y gracias por participar.

Bueno, carrera para la que tenía grandes esperanzas y desastre total...
El circuito se me da bien y justo antes de lanzar el server Gaizka, di 3 vueltillas y me salió un 1:34:2. Todo perfecto.
Pero empieza la qualy y mis primeras vueltas no fueron buenas y luego, cuando si me estaban saliendo vueltas buenas, tuve la mala suerte de encontrar tráfico en momentos clave y no pude mejorar casi nada el triste 1:35 bajo que me quedó como tiempo definitivo.
Pero bueno, no pasaba nada, aqui en Imola las carreras suelen ser muy accidentadas y si no se cometen errores se pueden ganar bastantes posiciones.
Y así fué al principio, pese a estar en el puesto 13 en la salida, en dos vueltas me coloqué séptimo, detrás de Mardor y Sergi. Vi que se estaban dando leña de la buena (en plan kamikaze) y que tarde o temprano se la iban a dar, asi que fui manteniendo una distancia prudencial... hasta que, efectivamente, se la dieron en la frenada a Rivazza. Pasé entre ellos, pero Mardor, tras chocar contra las protecciones salió rebotado marcha atrás hacia la pista y me impactó en el eje trasero.
Tras volver a pista, habia perdido 3 o 4 posiciones. Me reincorporé tras un grupo de Ferraris, gané una posición, pero antes de que trascurriera una vuelta más (en la vuelta 5) el motor me reventó cuando iba camino de Rivazza.
Pese a no puntuar al menos tuve la gran suerte de no descender a la categoría B.
Ala, os dejo que empiezo a entrenar Mónaco y prometo no dar la brasa contando lo mucho que lo odio... ups! se me escapó

Pues.. que a veces no pasaran ciertas cosas que lamentar . Aunque me parece que es tan inevitable como el propio disfrute y satisfacción de estas carreras. (Sin juzgar -jamás lo hago - si hay cosas que se podrían o no "evitar")

Mardor, no pasa nada. Una vez que tuviste el accidente poco podias hacer para evitar nada. Y menos yendo marcha atras.

Por cierto, ayer con las prisas me deje en el tintero las felicitaciones . La verdad que el CARRERON de Sergio se merece una buena FELICITACION. Edu y Sergi tambien fantasticos, asi como Xavy, que esta en su mejor momento desde que corre con nosotros. Tambien buenos puntos los sumados por mis compis de Paquetown.
Y animo a Thund, Pilotillo, Seninha y Manel!!
