Aqui por lo menos parece que dicen algo mas...
According to Jaguar sources, the R3b's new aerodynamic package means it is far less pitch sensitive than its predecessor, making it much more stable on the entry to corners. "Eddie said there is more stability through the corners, pitch stability doesn't feel as bad, downforce wise it seems to be there," said Jaguar spokesperson Nav Sidhu. "Having inherited a car that is set up in a certain way we now need to change the set-up of the car and find which ones work best with this aerodynamic package." The original R3 suffered from key aerodynamic deficiencies that left it struggling for downforce at many circuits. The new car, the work of new technical chief Guenther Steiner, features a new nose-cone, barge-boards and undertray and the team hope it will be a major step forward. Although the new car failed to set a competitive time at Barcelona on Thursday, Sidhu insisted this was connected to the hot conditions when the car debuted late in the day. "Track temperature went up dramatically in the afternoon, which slowed everyone up about three or four seconds a lap," he said. "So the final lap times everyone will see are not representative because the best times were generated before 10.30 this morning. "The more realistic times later in the day - the 21s, mid 22s - we were pretty comparable with. All in all we've done about 12 timed laps so we are nowhere near as far into the programme as we would have wished, but there are some encouraging signs coming back." "It's difficult to get an absolute impression in such conditions. These were extreme temperatures around 50 degrees." Jaguar will have two R3bs on track at Barcelona on Friday - one for Pedro de la Rosa and one for Minardi's Mark Webber, who has been given a one-day test with the team. "That way we'll get twice the feedback and hopefully twice the mileage," added Sidhu. "We will be much better placed at the end of Friday to draw conclusions. We don't want to prematurely jump up and down. "Eddie says the car feels much better because the car had a big stability problem before. The new changes have had a positive effect but whether it has the desired effect remains to be seen." Jaguar are also expected to run the current R3 on Friday in order to carry out a back-to-back comparison of the two cars.
