Me adelanto un año, porque creo que tendremos bastantes noticias con el tema del nuevo equipo.


Vinculan a Dacia con el proyecto de Colin Kolles para la F1 2015

El fabricante de automóviles de bajo coste Dacia entraría en la Formula 1 2015 vinculada con el proyecto del exdirectivo de HRT Colin Kolles.

El ex jefe del desaparecido equipo español es uno de los tres candidatos posibles, junto a Gene Haas y Stefan GP, a ingresar la próxima temporada en la F1 como la escudería número 12 después de que la FIA abriese el plazo a mediados de diciembre para la búsqueda de una nueva formación para la parrilla.

Kolles tendría el respaldo de entidades rumanas entre ellas la marca propiedad de Renault, según informa la publicación francesa Caradisiac, con el objetivo de promover la imagen y los negocios del país de Europa del Este.

“What we’re going to focus on the first few years is finishing races, because that’s what hurts teams the most--most of them just don’t finish the race. Having the highest-performance engine or aero package doesn’t do you any good if you can’t finish the race. So our goal is really to get the logistics down, getting to the races, getting the right equipment there, having the right spares, being able to qualify the cars properly… that’s going to be really what our goal is."

Parecen objetivos modestos durantes los primeros años. Básicamente terminar carreras y asentar el equipo.

Sobre los pilotos:

While the choice of a technical partner is still in the works, the applications are pouring from potential drivers—roughly 25 of them at this point.

“Like I’ve said before, we’d really like to have a current F1 driver that has driven this year’s car, because I think that’s just so critical to understanding the balance and everything else that we would need to know about. El artículo dice que ya tienen unos 25 aspirantes.
Luego ya comenta que le gustaría tener un piloto que haya conducido un coche de este año.
