He aquí esta anécdota de esas inolvidables en el mundo de la F1, como fue aquel puñetazo de Senna a Irvine... Que disfrutéis:

Muchas especulaciones envolvieron el encuentro de Ayrton Senna con Eddie Irvine después del GP de Japón de 1993. Lo siguiente es una trascripción (traducción hecha como he podido por uri) de ese infame evento...

La escena: Eddie Irvine está sentado solo encima de una mesa en el box de Jordan. El manager comercial de Jordan, Rubens Barrichello y mucha más gente, la matoría de los miembros del equipo, también están presentes. Suzuka fue la primera carrera de F1 de Irvine y todos están viendo una repetición del incidente Senna-Hill-Irvine.
De repente se abre la puerta y entra Ayrton Senna acompañado de Norman Howell, director de comunicaciones de McLaren, y Giorgio Ascanelli, el ingeniero de Senna.
Senna está buscando a Irvine, pero él no le ve, o no lo reconoce. Eddie Irvine le alarga la mano y Senna anda hacia él.

Irvine: Aquí!
Senna : Qué cojones creías que estabas haciendo? (Como veis los tacos no los he censurado para dar más realismo, aunque son lo primero q me ha pasado por la cabeza. Se aceptan propuestas )
Irvine: Estaba compitiendo!
Senna : Estabas compitiendo? Conoces la regla en la que se supone que tienes que dejar pasar a los líderes cuando eres un doblado? (back marker se podría traducir también por el culo del grupo pero no queda demasiado bien aquí )
Irvine: Si hubieses ido lo suficientemente rápido no habría problema
Senna : Te adelanté! Y tú te fuiste delante mío tres veces en el mismo sitio, como un jodido idiota, donde había aceite. Y tu estabas tirando piedras y todo tipo de cosas (?) delante mío durante tres vueltas. Cuando te cogí te diste cuenta que estaba delante tuyo (Se refiere a que lo estaba doblando) . Y cuando llegué detrás de Hill, porque él llevaba slicks (Ya sabéis, esos neumáticos que ya no usan los F1 ) y con dificultades, tu tenías que haberte mantenido detrás dio. Cogiste un gran riesgo de echarme fuera de la carrera.
Irvine: ¿Donde te puse en peligro?
Senna: ¿No me pusiste en peligro?
Irvine: ¿Te toqué? Te he tocado alguna vez?
Senna: No, pero tu hiciste más que tocarme, y se suponía que yo era el jodido líder. SE SUPON�A QUE ERA EL JODIDO L�DER!
Irvine: un error es tan bueno como una milla
Senna: Te digo una cosa. Si no te portas correctamente en la próxima carrera, tendrás que replantearte que harás. Te lo garantizo.
Irvine: Los comisarios dijeron: "No problem. Nada estuvo equivocado".
Senna: ¿Si? Espérate a Australia. Espérate a Australia, donde los comisarios hablarán contigo. Entonces me dices si ellos te han dicho eso.
Irvine: Hey, estoy ahí fuera para dar lo mejor de mi mismo.

Senna: ...y no pasar y hacer las cosas que tu has hecho. Tú picaste a Hill delante mio tres veces, porque lo vi, y entonces os pude coger a los dos, y esa no es la manera de hacerlo.
Irvine: Pero yo corría! yo corría! Se supone que tu...
Senna: Tú no competías! Tu conducías como un jodido idiota. Tú no eres un piloto de carreras, tu eres un jodido idiota!
Irvine: Tu hablas, hablas. Estabas en el sitio equivocado en el momento equivocado.
Senna : Estaba en el sitio equivocado en el momento equivocado?
Irvine : Si, estaba peleando con Hill.
Senna: De verdad? De verdad? solo dime una cosa. Quien se supone que tiene prioridad? Tu, o el líder de la carrera que viene hacia ti para doblarte?
Irvine: El líder de la carrera.
Senna : Por lo tanto, que fue lo que hiciste tu?

Irvine : huh? (típica expresión del atontao que no se entera o no quiere enterarse )
Senna: ¿Como te adelanté con mojados?
Irvine: No puedo recordarlo ahora. En estos momentos no recuerdo la carrera.
Senna: Exacto. Porque tu no eres lo suficientemente competente para recordar. Así es como te va.
Irvine: De acuerdo, de acuerdo. Eso es lo que tu piensas.
Senna : ves con cuidado chaval.
Irvine : Lo haré. Te vigilaré a ti.
Senna : Tendrás problemas no solo conmigo, con todos los otros chicos, también la FIA.
Irvine : si?
Senna : puedes apostar.
Irvine : Si? perfecto.
Senna : si? es bueno saberlo.

Haciendo ver que se va Senna se da la vuelta y pega a Irvine con su mano izquierda. El golpe le da a Irvine en el lado derecho de su cabeza. Irvine pierde el equilibrio y cae de la mesa. Senna está aun gritando mientras es empujado hacia la puerta.
Irvine grita: "Insurance claim there!" (que alguien me lo traduzca, porque yo... )
Senna (yéndose) se gira "Tienes que aprender a prestar atención donde lo estés haciendo mal" (o alguna cosa así ).

Eso es todo amigos.

Much speculation surrounds Ayrton Senna's encounter with Eddie Irvine after the 1993 Japanese GP. The following is a transcript of that now infamous event ...
The scene: Eddie Irvine is sitting alone on a table in the Jordan cabin. Jordan's commercial manager, Rubens Barrichello and several other people, mostly Team members, are also present. Suzuka was Irvine's first ever F1 race and everyone is watching a re-run of the Senna-Hill-Irvine incident.
Suddenly the door opens and in walks Ayrton Senna accompanied by Norman Howell, director of communications for McLaren and Giorgio Ascanelli, Senna's engineer.
Senna is looking for Irvine, but either he doesn't see him or he doesn't recognise him. Eddie Irvine raises his hand and Senna walks over to him ...
Irvine : Here!
Senna : What the **** do you think you were doing?
Irvine : I was racing!
Senna : You were racing? Do you know the rule that you're supposed to let the leaders come by when you're a back marker?
Irvine : If you were going fast enough, it was no problem.
Senna : I overtook you! And you went three times off the road in front of me, at the same place, like ****ing idiot, where there was oil. And you were throwing stones and all things in front of me for three laps. When I took you, you realised I was ahead of you. And when I came up behind Hill, because he was on slicks and in difficulties, you should have stayed behind me. You took a very big risk to put me out of the race.

Irvine : Rain. Because on slicks you were quicker than me, on wets you weren't.
Senna : Really? Really? How did I come and overtake you on wets?
Irvine : Huh?
Senna : How come I overtook you on wets?
Irvine : I can't remember that. I don't actually remember the race.
Senna : Exactly. Because you are not competent enough to remember. That's how it goes you know.
Irvine : Fair enough. Fair enough. That's what you think.
Senna : You be careful guy.
Irvine : I will. I'll watch out for you.
Senna : You're gonna have problems not with me only, but with lots of other guys, also the FIA.
Irvine : Yeah?
Senna : You bet.
Irvine : Yeah? Good.
Senna : Yeah? It's good to know that.
Irvine : See you out there.
Senna : It's good to know that.
Irvine : See you out there ...
Appearing to turn away Senna then turns back and hits Irvine with his left hand. The blow lands on the right side of Irvine's head. Irvine loses his balance and falls off the table. Senna is still shouting as he is hustled towards the door.
Irvine yells "Insurance claim there!"
Senna (leaving) retorts "You got to learn to respect where you're going wrong!"
