la seleccion murciana llevaba en los pantalones en la parte del culo el logo de hispania racing

Pues me parece un gesto precioso y no se pero espero que las empresas españolas empiezan a darse cuentade que es un equipo español y necesitan su apoyo, porque al paso que vamos tendremos mas patrocinadores indios que Forcé India y para el GP de India están negociando con una docena de empresas indias.

No se me ocurre sitio mejor para el logo.

Eso son muchos patrocinadores ¿una docena? supongo que la aportacion de todas ellas sera mas bien poca ¿no?

Liuzzi confident of 'bright future' for HRT

Buoyed by recent performances in China and Turkey, Hispania Racing's Tonio Liuzzi believes that the Spanish team can continue to surprise people as F1 moves into the heart of its European campaign.

Although the Italian, and team-mate Narain Karthikeyan, continued to prop up the list of finishers at both races, they were happy with the improved reliability shown by the F111-Cosworth, as well as the fact that very little continued to separate them from the two Marussia Virgin cars in practice and qualifying, and Liuzzi insists that, with a continued focus on development, the team can improve further.

The Spanish Grand Prix is the best opportunity to show the world and the fans that Hispania Racing is putting a lot of effort into the team, now and for the future, and is on the right path for success," he claimed, "Barcelona is also an important race because we're at a stage in the championship where you start to see the real pace of all the teams, as pretty much everyone has some upgrades and you can judge better everyone's pace.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to test as much as we wanted here in winter, and that's why every race is a great test for us. We have to focus on all parts of the car as if it were a test because of the time lost in winter but, if we're able to get all the updates we were planning, then I think we'll make a big step forward - and might even impress quite a few people.

"Everything is going in the right direction, if we keep progressing and working as the team has until now then I'm sure we'll have a bright future.

Hispania will be on home soil for the fifth grand prix of the season, racing its second-ever Spanish Grand Prix, and Karthikeyan is looking forward to sampling the atmosphere at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The Spanish Grand Prix is a home grand prix for the team so, undoubtedly, this will be a special race," he noted, "Last time I raced here, in 2005, I really enjoyed the track and the atmosphere and, this time round, with the Hispania Racing fans in the crowd cheering us on, it will be even more special.

"It would be a huge boost to our fans if we were to do well in Barcelona, and I am hopeful that the new updates on the car will take us the next step in a positive direction. The support from the fans is nice, but we still need to work as hard as ever to have a good weekend - there are no shortcuts to that."

Although he conducted the limited testing carried out by HRT in Barcelona over the winter, the Indian was at the wheel of last year's troubled F110, but he remains confident that the team will be able to use the data gathered to kick-start its weekend

I've done many laps here over the past few years, especially in pre-season testing this year, where we drove mostly in wet conditions with the 2010 car, so I know the track very well," he continued, "It's one of my favourite circuits as it's quite technical and very challenging for both car and driver.

"The engineers have a lot of experience at this circuit so they will be able to start us off with a good baseline set-up, but we still have a lot of work to do to get the ideal set-up for the new F111. We've still got a long way to go in terms of extracting the maximum performance from our car, but we've been learning and improving every weekend since Australia.

"It's hard to quantify the gain in performance we will achieve with the new updates but, hopefully, it will take us past our nearest competitors on the track. I think the progress has been quite steady, we've been improving every weekend and I'm hoping that the trend continues in Barcelona. Even though there haven't been many overtaking opportunities at Montmelo in the past, with the long front straight, I'm sure that the DRS will produce a lot of overtaking moves, just as it has done in the last couple of races.

Al final habrá morro nuevo?

Espero esta carrera para HRT, como la primera del Campeonato. Tras la pretemporada, llega el primer examen verdadero, llega la hora de demostrar la valia del equipo y la capacidad de sobreponerse a todos los males del mismo, para alcanzar el primer objetivo de la temporada que no es otro que Virgin.

La norma del 107%, para mi, no es ningun objetivo ya que cualquier equipo de F1 actual, deberia pasarla perfectamente.

De momento no veo ninguna mejora visible ni el ligo de Base, aunque en el mono creo haber visto alguna pegata mas

De momento sorprenden...con las lógicas cautelas...están rodando en 1.31, en los tiempos del segundos Lotus, el de Trulli, y 0,8 seg menos que el Virgin de Glock...

que se mantenga así a final de sesión, por favor

El año pasado, desde la sesión 1 a la Calificación, estuvieron muy lejos, del orden de los 0,8-1,2 del último Virgin...

si estamos en este Gp por encima de los Virgin, pintará muy bien la temporada, porque este circuito es de los que peor se dió el año pasado.

parece que la guerra con Virgin va a estar igualada...están ahora en los mismo tiempos...

buena señal sigue siendo en todo caso si comparamos con el año pasado...

Pues a mí me han decepcionado un poco... no sé si es que no han implementado todas las mejores o qué ha pasado... además la desventaja con el 1º ha sido bastante alta... Lo de Trulli ya es de chiste... creo que este será su último año en la F1 porque kjovalainen le está mojando la oreja sin ser ninguna maravilla...

De momento el 1:31.2 de Liuzzi es 4 seg. mas lento que el 1:27.2 de Klien (Libres 1 del 2010). Sin embargo la distancia con el mejor tiempo es la misma 6,1 seg.

Bueno, se confirma que a Webber le gusta este circuito...esperemos que siga repitiendo esta actuación si no tiene que ganar Alonso, ya que nos conviene que Webber remonte y no se descuelgue pronto de Vettel,para así tener lucha dentro de RB y poder restarle puntos a Vettel porque no lo dediquen a 2º piloto demsiado pronto.

De Hispania, habrá que esperar a los segundos libres, pero de momento la batalla va a ser encarnizada con Virgin.Ya han superado a un Lotus, pero por las pocas vueltas de Trulli habrá tenido algun problema.Con los Virgin están en los tiempos, sólo queda ver la segunda sesión para confirmar impresiones...

La diferencia con el Virgin de Glock fue entonces de 0,9 seg.Hoy estamos en la misma décima...me parece un dato relevante que habrá que confirmar en la 2ª sesión.D'ambrosio ha salido más respondón que Di Grassi, pero también hay que tener en cuenta los posibles problemas en las pruebas con la actualización del Virgin.

En todo caso, la diferencia respecto a la pole sigue siendo la misma, 6,0-6,1 seg, aunque en esa ocasión, marcada por los Mclaren que parecen un paso por detrás.

De Jaime poco podemos juzgar porque ha rodado poco.Veremos la 2ªsesión para ver donde está realmente.

4 seg es lo que ha empeorado la pole...lo mismo que han empeorado los tiempos de Hispania.Es decir, en ese sentido están igual que el año pasado

peroooo...el tiempo de Glock con el Virgin ha empeorado casi 5 seg, así que en ese sentido, estamos mejor

Los tiempos de los Lotus han empeorado lo mismo, casi 4 seg (3,9). Luego siguen donde estaban el año pasado...perooooo la distancia contra el siguiente "no nuevo" ha bajado drasticamente, de 1,9 seg. a 0,3 seg, luego los de la tabla media, algunos, han hecho peor trabajo (por ejemplo, los Force India el año pasado estaban a 2 seg. y este año están a 3 seg.)

Sacaremos más conclusiones válidas en próximas sesiones...está claro que esperabamos más, pero demos tiempo al tiempo, aun es pronto.Está claro, que por el motivo que sea, la diferencia con Virgin se debe más a una peor adaptación del Virgin que a una evolución del Hispania...pero eso es de momento...esperemos la sesión 2.

PD: El año pasado Liuzzi se quedó a 0,2 seg. de Di Resta...si estamos de acuerdo en que el escocés es bueno, Liuzzi no puede ser tan malo (comentario ventajista donde los haya, lo sé )

Eso es lo que extraña todo... ...pero vamos a esperar a ver el resto de sesiones.Este es uno de los Gp's que peor se le dió el año pasado.Veremos a donde nos llevan estas sesiones y a ver si sacamos algo en claro.Yo creo que parte de las majoras las adelantaron para Turquía...y ahora está por ver si han aplicado todas o han dejado cosas para la 2ª sesión o para Monaco...

De momento la reducción de la diferencia con Virgin parece más culpa de Virgin que de Hispania, por los datos que tenemos...veremos luego a donde llegan.

jo ... que recuerdos , hace un añito estaba por tierras catalanas disfrutando del GP . Aun me acuerdo cuando vi a Pedro colocado 5º en el final de la Q1 . esa imagen no se ira nunca de mi cabeza .

Ya te digo, como pasa el tiempo... creo recordar que fue 6º....
