Hola, los test de silverstones donde tienen que medirse Hamilton y Pedro, son hoy no?

Me parece Verb que los entrenamientos programados por McLaren para Pedro y Hamilton son el 19 y 20 de septiembre en Silverstone.

Mañana día 13, y hasta el día 15, hay entrenamientos en el Circuito de Jerez en los que saltarán a la pista Honda, Renault y Red Bull, según se indica en la web del circuito.

Como confirmo elmundodeportivo mclaren cancelo los tests para esta semana, teniendo 4 dias de pruebas ante los 9 o 8 que lo hara renault hasta fin de temporada.

Verb yo tambien lo lei hace dias en la prensa inglesa que iban a probar en jerez o silverstone, asi que no fue el unico en meter la pata.

PEDRO DE LA ROSA PREPARA EL PRÓXIMO GP EN SILVERSTONE
18 DE SEPTIEMBRE DE 2006
Pedro de la Rosa entrenará mañana martes y el miércoles en el circuito inglés de Silverstone para preparar el próximo Gran Premio que se celebrará del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre en China. El de McLaren completará un intenso programa de tests para preparar el monoplaza de cara a las próximas carreras.

Estos serán los únicos entrenamientos privados que la escudería de Woking realizará antes de las citas asiáticas: Gran Premio de China el 1 de octubre y Gran Premio de Japón el 8 de octubre.

No dicen que en dichos tests estará presente Lewis Hamilton. Y esto es importante ya que podríamos decir que a partir de YA empieza a derimirse el 2º asiento de Mclaren para 2007. Pedro tiene la obligación de superar a Lewis en todas y cada una de las pruebas.

Dicen que Magic es Alonso, pero el verdadero magic es Catalán y se llama Pedro

LEWIS HAMILTON TO TEST AT SILVERSTONE TODAY – 19th September 2006 09:00
2006 GP2 Champion Lewis Hamilton will be testing with Team McLaren Mercedes at the Silverstone circuit in the UK this week. The 21-year-old Briton will be driving alongside Pedro de la Rosa at the two day session in Northamptonshire.

It will be Lewis’s first full test with the team, and he will be at the wheel of an MP4-21. The initial programme with Lewis will focus on familiarisation with the MP4-21, before moving onto the scheduled test programme for the week.

Prior to the test Lewis commented that “It has been a fantastic year for me to date, and alongside winning the Championship I have worked hard to ensure the team feel I am ready to have this test. I feel more than ready and I cannot wait to get the MP4-21 out on track. It is going to be an intensive couple of days with the test team, there will be a lot to take in and I am looking forwarding to starting this morning.”

Hamilton to begin Silverstone test today

Lewis Hamilton will join McLaren for testing at Silverstone today, as the team begins evaluating whether to hand him a 2007 race drive.

The GP2 champion will be given a two-day run at the British track, alongside Pedro de la Rosa, ahead of what is expected to be a more thorough outing at Jerez next month.

Should Hamilton impress in the tests, and maintain the momentum that helped him grab the GP2 title at Monza, then he could be confirmed as Fernando Alonso's teammate before Christmas.

Although McLaren have been under pressure to consider Hamilton for a race drive, the youngster is well aware that he must shine in testing if he is to get that chance straightaway.

Should the team feel that he would be better off having another year of preparation, then he could become a McLaren test driver for a season before getting a race chance in 2008.

McLaren F1 CEO Martin Whitmarsh does not hold back in his belief that Hamilton is a special talent though.

"He has done a great job and he has done everything we have asked of him in each championship he has been in," he said. "Just look at the results of the championship. His pedigree is fantastic and I am sure we will all witness him racing in F1 in the years to come."

The Silverstone test has also marked the debut of a new orange paint scheme for the Spyker-Midland team.

Lewis Hamilton has also completed his first installation lap for McLaren ahead of his testing programme for the team.

His plans for the remainder of the day remain unclear, however, because the team are awaiting a new batch of engines from Mercedes-Benz.

Should the power units not arrive soon, then the team may opt to skip testing today so as not to use up one of their four remaining test days.

Muy buena suerte a Adrian Vallés,para que le vaya bien,haga buenos tiempos y se gane un puesto de probador en Midland (o incluso un asiento de titular,¿por que no?)

Suerte a Nelsinho en su debut con Renault.Puede ser una interesante propuesta de cara a sustituir a Fisico.Con un poco de suerte,dentro de 2 años sustituye a Fisico.

Mala suerte a Lewis:no por nada en especial,sino porque así nuestro Pedrinchi no corre peligro de terminar la temporada.
