Deberíamos de relajarnos (je je, complicado) y pensar qye cuanto más se retrase todo, mejor será para Pedro:
1.- Mas Km el viernes
2.- Menos presión, toda para Juancho
3.- Tendrá más razones para exigir un volante esta misma temporada. Y en Mclaren mismo como se descuide Juancho (de ahí viene su rencor hacía Pedro)

"Kimi Raikkonen will be joined at Imola by Alex Wurz, who will be competing in his first Grand Prix since the Malaysian race at the end of the 2000 season. The Austrian will be racing the MP4-20 for the first time as Juan Pablo Montoya is still recovering from the shoulder injury sustained during the Easter weekend. After resting his shoulder for three weeks, the Colombian has undergone a number of tests and scans this week, following which the medical experts have advised that it is still too soon for Juan Pablo to return to the MP4-20 cockpit. The healing process is well advanced but the need to keep the shoulder immobilised has naturally led to some minor muscle atrophy. Having evaluated the progress of the healing process today, the team and Juan Pablo expect that he will be back in action at the Spanish Grand Prix on 8th May 2005.

Pedro de la Rosa, who took over from Juan Pablo in Bahrain, will be taking the wheel of the Team McLaren Mercedes team's third car during Friday's Free Practice sessions at Imola and in Spain. The driver allocation for the third car for the remainder of the 2005 season will be reviewed by the team after the Spanish Grand Prix."

Vaya mierda, toda la semana ilusionados para este chasco.

Solo os pido una cosa, no vayamos a esperar ahora que el viernes se canse JPM, y entonces pedro corra el sabado y domingo, pq eso es una carambola que no va a suceder.

Si mclaren dice q juancho esta bien , pos esta bien, no s eva a resentir por dar 20 vueltas el viernes, se puede resentir en mitad de carrera, pero no el viernes.

2005 SPANISH GRAND PRIX - PREVIEW

Round five of the 2005 FIA Formula One World Championship, the Spanish Grand Prix, takes place at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya this weekend. Following medical tests in Madrid and at the team’s headquarters in Woking, Juan Pablo Montoya will make his return to the cockpit of the MP4-20 following his absence at the Bahrain and San Marino events as a result of a shoulder injury.

KIMI RAIKKONEN
“After the disappointing end to the last race in San Marino, I am really keen to get back on track and exploit the pace of the MP4-20. We had a positive test last week in Jerez so I’m looking forward to the weekend. The Circuit de Cataluyna does see exciting racing, but because of all the quick corners overtaking is quite difficult. You can slipstream down the long start-finish straight and pass under braking into turn one, but it is a very tight turn. The fast corners also play an important role in our tyre choice with Michelin, as they create massive loading and you can have high levels of wear, in particular on the front left.”

JUAN PABLO MONTOYA
“I’m obviously extremely pleased to get back behind the wheel again. It’s been so frustrating for me to be a spectator and I’m looking forward to the weekend. The Barcelona track is physically demanding because of all the fast corners but I have undergone an extensive rehabilitation programme to build up the muscles in my shoulder so I will be well prepared. The Circuit de Catalunya is a complete circuit in that it has a very fast long straight, quick sweeping corners, tight hairpins, elevation changes, so it keeps you focused all the time.”

“It is really great for me to be taking part in the Friday sessions in front of my home crowd. They are always so enthusiastic and I am really looking forward to it. The issues with the track surface at the Circuit de Catalunya earlier this year have been resolved. The circuit now has much better grip and the problems everyone was having with building up the temperature in the tyres due to the surface should no longer be an issue. Although we have completed a number of test days at the Barcelona circuit with the MP4-20 and therefore have a good data set, set-up is always a challenge due to the possible changes of the track temperature.”

“We are pleased to have Juan Pablo back and look forward to a competitive weekend. His injury has healed well and he has been able to train the muscles in his shoulder over the past weeks and I know he just can’t wait to drive. The Circuit de Cataluyna is traditionally very demanding on Formula One cars, from both an attrition perspective and also with changeable weather conditions. The wind is a particular issue, as this can lead to a compromise with the aerodynamic efficiency. We had a very productive and successful test in Jerez last week where we undertook tyre testing with Michelin and durability runs as well as working on aero dynamic developments which will all make their Grand Prix debut this weekend in Spain. The test and our overall speed at the last race mean that we enter the Spanish Grand Prix in an optimistic frame of mind.”

“It is good to have Juan Pablo back at the wheel in Barcelona. He will be highly focused to compete in Formula One again after he has missed two races. In preparation for the Spanish Grand Prix, Kimi and Pedro had two very positive test days at Jerez last week where they covered more than 1,700 kilometres in total. The Barcelona circuit with its long main straight, long and sweeping corners as well as sharp and tight ones is probably the most demanding of all tracks in terms of a car’s aerodynamic efficiency. It is also demanding for the tyres. Barcelona is the track where Formula One is doing most of its testing, so everybody knows the circuit very well and has got a lot of data available. The Barcelona race track will therefore be a good indicator of where everybody stands in terms of competitiveness.”

Lo siento Raquel, pero imaginate entro en la web de McLaren (sin esperar encontrar nada aún). Entro en el previo que no es, sin darme cuenta, y me encuentro letras en el lugar del fondo negro y la palabra: back.

Imaginate... Lo primero en lo que se fijan mis ojos: Kimi Raikkonen y Alex Würz. Y desde ese momento ya no me fijo en más. Pienso, estoy hay que postearlo ya! Y en cuanto lo he posteado y lo leo tranquilamente me doy cuenta que he metido la pata y paso por varias fases:sorpresa,rubor, penay aceptación del error. LO SIENTO!

En cualquier caso desearle a Juan Pablo Montoya una buena participación el GP de España y felicitarle por su retorno a la competición.

Pues yo, evidentemente, hubiese preferido que corriese Pedro (cosa que todavía es posible), pero lo que me hubiese sentado fatal es que corriese Wurz, no por él, sino por el palo que se hubiese llevado Pedro.

Para mí la play Station esa de Mclaren será todo lo real que quieran, pero que se dejen de historias, JUANCHO ES IMPOSIBLE que esté al 100% es una locura hacerlo pilotar estará a tope fisicamente pero hace 1 mes y medio que no pilla el monoplaza y me parecería perfecto que hiciesen competir a MONTOYA si este fuese el lider del mundial y faltasen 2 carreras para terminar la temporada... pero es una tontería jugar a la loteria y probar si Juancho está bien o no, más todavía cuando tanto PEDRO como WÜRZ están al 200% física y mentalmente, me parece irresponsable y arriesgado.

Si Würz fuese el substituto, sería un chasco pero es hasta comprensible, siendo el austriaco 3er piloto y reserva, así que habría que resignarse, pero que pongan a JPM, no lo entiendo, y no es que tenga la pataleta, es simplemente una qüestion de lógica y sentido común, Si Juancho entrena durante 3 dias sin problemas la próxima semana, con tiempos medios, es normal que compita en Monaco pero eso de darle la play station (por muy real que sea ese simulador) y decir que sí, que ya está, que ya puede competir lo encuentro una chorrada. Sobretodo viendo los resultados obtenidos por Pedro y Alex.

Paso de dimes y diretes y espero a las decisión y explicaciones oficiales, aunque a mí, el echo que alarguen tanto la decisión me huele a MONTOYA. Y hay del pobre Juancho si no da la talla o se pega un trompo de esos que hace él, porque puede haber una semana movidita, post GP en Woking.
