What do you think? Shouldn't the race have been interrupted after the big accident at the start? Maybe the should even have cancelled it. A man was killed (!), but the race just went on... They didn't even cancel the "champagne shower" at the end of the day. Awful, no?

I agree that the race should be stopped and maybe restarted rather than to drive behind the safety-car for 11 laps....It would have helped to transport the fire-marshall although I guess it was too late anyway sad.gif

I pay respect to the family of the young and brave Paolo Ghislimberti (30) who died today at Monza, rest in peace Paolo...

I don't think they should restart the race. There had been so many accidents to think about another start, there could probably happen another disaster again of they had rerstarted again the GP with the 22 cars.
About the celebration, I don't think drivers knew anything about that died man. But I think that if it will be worth to remember something about that GP is the Press interviews to the podium drivers.

That`s the f1 racing business, no one matters but for the tv timing.

The race lost seven drivers at the first lap and consequently the spectacle was a bit castrated but, who cares of that after them all are OK?.

The race should have to be restarted after the pile-up, but that should make longer time for tv connections, and that`s unaceptable for the race bosses.

Nobody knew, at that time about the death of Paolo Ghiberti and unfortunately that was no matter for the race director.

Racing is dangerous itself, but risks are to be reduced to minimum without losing the big spectacle. So, I think the race lost part of interest after the pile up, but the question is; should the race be restarted for another accident?.

Luck shouldn`t be tempted in a such dangerous track.
