Aquí "TODOS" los contratos... donde dije digo, digo Diego y ... si hay que ir a los tribunales pues vamos, pagamos y todos tan contentos.

Roldan es obvio que esta verde para la F1 y que le queda batalla en la GP2 lo veais como lo veais... no digo que sea malo, bueno o regular... pero no está para la F1 y menos tal como pinta este año... ni Liuzzi, ni Ide, ni Klien, vamos que hasta Sato se me ha centrado!!! (que tambien quien lo ha visto y quien lo vé)... este año la cosa va a estar disputadita!!! y repito que me parece una de las parrillas con más calidad de los ultimos años o por lo menos con unas ciertas garantias de calidad. Asi que tanto Roldán como cualquier otro que no hubise despuntado en categorias inferiores este 2008 lo tendría jodido, más teniendo en cuenta que hay que llevar esos "bichos" sin ayudas electrónicas.

En cuanto a KOVA... no es Roldan claro que no... y el tio ha hecho lo que devía para llegar a la F1 y su debut en Renault cuanto menos un poco decepccionante hasta que se puso las pilas.

No dudo de su calidad porque así la atesoró previo a la F1 donde se ha merecido mucho más que otros llegar a la categoria... ahora bien le falta consagrarse... y obvio que no ha hecho lo suficiente como para ganarse un volante en McLaren... a favor, es joven, mostraba buenas formas y sinceramente pienso que es mejor de lo que ha demostrado en Renault este año, en McLaren o se va para arriba o se lo come la presion y se nos apalanca y eso NO SE LO VAN A PERMITIR... en cuanto flaquee dos GP'S seguidos ya tenemos a Norberto diciendo que ¿porque coño no se puso a Pedro?... así que más le vale espavilar y hacerlo prontito, porque tampco seguro tiene un contrato archimillonario ni irrompible, como podía tener un Juancho, Kimi, Coulthard, etc...

Y dale con que Kovalainen es joven, que tiene la edad de Alonso leñe. No digo que sea un dinosaurio pero dejad de tratarle como a uno que tiene la edad de Villa o Vallés.

Lo que si estoy de acuerdo es que esta es una de las parrillas mas justas, donde pilotos como Ralf Schumacher o Yamamoto han quedado fuera y solo para que fuese 100% justa falta ver a Pedro en la parrilla.

Dicen que Magic es Alonso, pero el verdadero magic es Catalán y se llama Pedro

Ralf, Klien, set for Mercedes DTM test

Jan.14 (GMM) Despite elder brother Michael's advice to the contrary, it appears that F1 refugee Ralf Schumacher may be considering a switch to the German touring car series DTM in 2008.



According to ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, the 32-year-old has lined up a test in a Mercedes-Benz tin-top car this week.



Christian Klien, who similarly tested for Force India earlier this winter before the team selected Giancarlo Fisichella for 2008, may also attend the test, the report added.



Following former twice world champion Mika Hakkinen's departure as a works Mercedes-Benz DTM racer, it has been suggested that the manufacturer and the series were keen to tie up again with another F1 name.



ORF said Schumacher, a six-time grand prix winner, and Austria's Klien will test on Tuesday and Wednesday at Estoril, Portugal.

ABCV... es que tener la edad de Hamilton... no es ser joven es un PETIT SUIS!!! de esos inventos 1 o 2 de cada 100... así que KOVALAINEN ES JOVEN para la F1 lo veamos como lo veamos llegar, mantenerse y ganar con la edad con la que debutó Kimi o Fernando es casi un milagro. Llegar con la experiencia de Kova y los logros de Kova... es o devería ser NORMAL para la F1 lo único NO normal en todo esto es que haya conseguido un volante en McLaren... es una apuesta de vete a saber que iluminado. Aunque con Hamilton salió bien, con Kimi... salió bien (otro que perdió titulos... en McLaren) y Renault apostó por Fernando y tambien le salió bien y en su día a mi me pareció arriesgado y eso que Renault no era lo que es hoy y podia tomar el riesgo de hacer debutar un piloto como Fernando teniendo a Trulli en sus filas.

A eso me refería YO... tener entre de 25 a 28 años y llegar con los deberes hechos a la F1 (debutando donde se tiene que debutar) es llegar con una muy buena edad a la F1 y para mi es ser JOVEN!!!... lo que hay por debajo, son casos excepcionales, intereses o millonetis de turno.

Ralf Schumacher to test for Mercedes

Ralf Schumacher will test a Mercedes C-Class DTM car at Estoril on Tuesday, the team have confirmed.

The German, who won six grands prix during his Formula One career, has been left without a slot on the 2008 F1 grid.

Speaking to the official DTM website, a Mercedes spokesman said that the test had been arranged between Schumacher and Norbert Haug a long time ago, but this week was the first opportunity for the 32-year-old to drive the car.

Autosport.com understands that Schumacher will be one of six drivers at the Portuguese track, including former F1 driver Christian Klien. However, Mercedes did not confirm which versions of the C-Class will be used.

The former champions have not confirmed their driver plans for 2008 yet, but they added that a driver shootout was not taking place this week.

Buemi confirmed as Red Bull reserve

Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner has confirmed that Sebastien Buemi will become the team's official test and reserve driver for 2008.

The 19-year-old Swiss driver made his Formula One testing debut with Red Bull last summer after they had parted company with German Michael Ammermuller, who had begun the year as their reserve.

"We will confirm later today Sebastien Buemi as our test and reserve driver," said Horner during the Red Bull launch at Jerez today.

Buemi will also embark on his full first season in the GP2 Series this year, having contested the second half of last year's championship after replacing Ammermuller at former champion team ART.

Klien and Asmer join BMW

BMW will be head into the 2008 season with a quartet of drivers, for Austrian Christian Klien has been signed as test and reserve driver while Marko Asmer of Estonia comes on board as second junior test driver.

"We wanted a third driver with Formula One racing experience," explains BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen, "as well as an up-and-coming young driver for us to train up to Formula One level. With Christian we have signed on a driver who is familiar with the format of a grand prix weekend and can step into the breach right away should one of our team drivers have to back out. Marko has driven our car four times since 4th December and has made steady progress. He has worked in a concentrated, focused and calm fashion. The feedback from the engineers bears positive testimony to him, and the chemistry between him and the team is right as well."

Christian Klien switched to Formula BMW in 1999 following a career in karting. "That's where I learnt the basics of formula racing," he recalls, "and so joining the BMW Sauber F1 Team is a bit of a homecoming for me. I'm really pleased that I will be part of the team in 2008 and continue to be involved in Formula One."

Klien won the German Formula Renault in 2002 and was runner-up in the 2003 Formula 3 Euro Series. In 2004 he entered Formula One with the Jaguar Racing team. 2005 and 2006 saw him competing in F1 for Red Bull Racing. In 2007 he was a test driver for Honda. His best Formula One results so far have been fourth on the grid and a fifth-placed race finish.

Marko Asmer says: "I always hoped for an opportunity to get into Formula One. Naturally I did everything I could to avoid any mistakes and to do a good job. I learnt a lot while driving in the tests at Jerez and Valencia, but also as a spectator and observer. I was given a very friendly welcome and got on just fine. I feel good in the BMW Sauber F1 Team and I'm very grateful to be a part of it now."

Asmer was Estonian, Baltic, Finnish and Scandinavian kart champion, dominated the World Kart Championship, and was honoured in 2001 as the world's most talented kart driver. Formula Ford proved to be the most affordable way of gaining entry into single-seater racing. In 2003, Asmer came runner-up in the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch. In the same year he was invited to get behind the wheel of a Formula One racer for the first time to take a test for the BMW WilliamsF1 Team. From 2004 on he competed in Formula 3. 2007 saw him commuting between the All Japan F3 Series and the British Championship, which he won with a commanding 11 wins and two further podium places.

Sabia decisión de BMW, aunque lo lamento por Villa la verdad.
Por un lado han cogido la no veteranía pero si experiencia de Klien para evolucionar. Creo que sus dos años en Jaguar, uno en Red Bull y otro de probador en Honda es lo que ha valorado el equipo para darle el puesto.
Por otro lado, optan por Asmer, que viene de ganar la F3 británica y su rendimiento ha sido mejor que el de Villa el día que coincidieron. La verdad es que lo siento mucho por Javi, pero no puede permitir que Asmer le meta mas de un segundo y quede casi a cinco de Heidfeld. Que por mucho que es previsible que Heidfeld esté muy por encima de Villa creo que la diferencia no debería haber ido mas allá de los 3,5 segundos.

Sakon Yamamoto joins ING Renault F1 Team as test development driver

The ING Renault F1 Team is delighted to announce the arrival of Sakon Yamamoto in the role of test development driver for the 2008 season.

The 25 year-old from Japan has made 14 Grand Prix starts so far in his career, with Super Aguri and Spyker. His best finish was P12 in last year’s rain-soaked Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji Speedway.

Sakon will conduct test development work for the team, as well as playing an important role in the Renault F1 Roadshow programme.

ING Renault F1 Team Managing Director Flavio Briatore commented:

“We are delighted to welcome Sakon to the team for 2008. We plan a particularly aggressive development programme for the coming year, and his F1 experience will be useful to us in this context. Furthermore, the ING Renault F1 Team is one of the most active in promoting Formula 1 around the world thanks to our unique Roadshow programme, and Sakon will boost our visibility in important markets. He will be an important asset for the team.”

Sakon Yamamoto added:

Kit, el fichaje de Yamamoto traducelo a los euros o dólares, que es lo que busca Briatore.
Aparte de los patrocinadores que Yamamoto aporte, buscará abrirse al mercado asiático. Pienso que esa es la verdadera razón del fichaje de Yamamoto. Pruebas ya verás como hace poquitas.

Por cierto, Di Grassi ¿será también piloto de pruebas de Renault?¿o esa noómina la formarán ya Yamamoto y Grosjean?

Finn is McLaren's 'third choice' for 2008

Feb.24 (GMM) Heikki Kovalainen was only McLaren-Mercedes' third choice to replace the departing Fernando Alonso ahead of the 2008 season, according to reports.



Germany's Bild newspaper claims that both Nico Rosberg and Toro Rosso rookie Sebastian Vettel were higher on the silver coloured outfit's wish list, but both Germans could not be extracted from solid contracts.



The newspaper said that when it became clear that Williams was not interested in selling Mercedes' first choice Rosberg, competition boss Norbert Haug pushed to arrange for 20-year-old Vettel to sit in the sister MP4-23 alongside Lewis Hamilton for this year.



But Bild claims that even when faced with promises of eight-digit contract buyouts, Red Bull's Dietrich Mateschitz refused to release Vettel to McLaren.



Referring to Kovalainen, Bild said: "The Finn is only the third choice."

Habria que buscar unas declaraciones de pedro creo recordar en 2005 cuando dijo que tenia claro que nunca correria para Mclaren (se supone la frase que no cuenta substituir aun piloto por despido)

Y el fichaje de Yamamoto supongo que será para probar la recuperación del Rinol después de los trompos así como su tolerancia a golpes y saltos bestiales de pianos
