Bueno Ayrton, yo puedo intentar escribir algo, pero durante esta tarde podríamos hacer una pequeña puesta en común sobre que escribir. Allá voy:


Señores del equipo Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes:

Somos un grupo de seguidores de Pedro de la Rosa que acaba de conseguir 14.000 firmas en favor del piloto al que admiramos.
A pesar de que en España haya muchos seguidores de Alonso, también somos muchos los que seguimos con fervor a Pedro Martínez de la Rosa desde sus primeras hazañas en Japón.
De la Rosa lleva 5 años trabajando para ustedes como piloto de pruebas, y en estos 5 años hemos vivido de todo, desde su épica carrera en Bahrein hasta su podio en Hungría, sin contar el como se sacrificó por ustedes en Suzuka en el año 2006 para que pudieran homologar el motor de cara a esta temporada.
De la Rosa ha sido un trabajador incansable, pieza clave en la estructura de la escudería para formar un monoplaza ganador, además, cuando le ha tocado competir, ha cumplido siempre lo que ustedes pedían.
La temporada 2007 ha sido muy convulsa dentro de Mclaren, desde la polémica entre Alonso y Hamilton, pasando por el espionaje y perdiendo el título de pilotos y constructores.
Por ello, 2008 es un año en el que Mclaren debe tener tranquilidad, y quien mejor que Pedro para otorgársela, puesto que poner a Pedro al lado de Hamilton solo ofrece ventajas. Pedro es rápido, constante en su trabajo, un hombre de equipo que ayudará a Hamilton, conoce el coche y la metodología de trabajo a la perfección, tiene mucha ilusión por competir y podrían contentar a los patrocinadores españoles que están en el equipo.
Otra decisión podría acarrear otra temporada tan convulsa como la vivida en 2007.
No solo los seguidores mas acérrimos de Pedro vemos así las cosas, sino los 14.000 firmantes también opinan igual.

Ok, me parece bien. Yo de todas maneras esta tarde estare fuera que tengo un compromiso pero no volvere tarde, si de mientras os poneis de acuerdo en el texto, se modifica, o si de mientras algun otro lo puede traducir pues genial sino en cuanto vuelva entraria y lo traduciria.

Lo que puedo hacer ahora cuando acabe de comer es traducir este que has puesto para que al menos tengais algo por si urgiera y decidierais enviarlo cuanto antes.

Creo que no he estado excesivamente inspirado pero bueno, al menos teneis algo aunque sea de manera privisional por si os decidierais a enviarlo ya.

Por supuesto se admiten todo tipo de correciones ya que es mas que probable que hayan errores de ortografia y sobretodo de expresion.

Although there are many Alonso fans in Spain, Pedro has also a lot of people behind him since his great years in Japan.

Since Pedro arrived at Mclaren 5 years ago he always has been in a tester role with you and in those years we have lived all kind of situations, from their epic race in Bahrein to their podium in Hungary the last year. Also is remarcable their sacrifice in Suzuka 2006 making that the engine could be homologated for the future.

All this years he has made a hard work with you, he has been an important key inside the team, has helped to develope the cars to make them winner and when he must run he has made their job very well according to the situations.

The 2007 season has been very difficult for Mclaren Mercedes, not only because of the spy case, also for the relationships inside the team and between Lewis and Fernando. That’s why we think your team needs a lot of stabilitiy for the new season and we all know that Pedro is the best choice to reach it.

We think that there are a lot of positive things hiring De la Rosa next to Hamilton. Positive things that any other driver in the grid can guarantee. He’s fast, consistent, a team man that would help Hamilton, he knows the car in a way that any other can, knows the team perfectly, knows the team philosophy and the way Mclaren works.

And for sure, he has the illusion and the desire to win for Mclaren Mercedes. To take another decision different from hiring De la Rosa would be wrong and probably would give Mclaren another difficult year like 2007.

We are not a short group of people, we are more than 14,000 people thinking the same, and this is only in a short period of time and only using Internet and the mouth to mouth, nothing more.

This link is our prove and the illusion of a lot of fans that every night dream seeing a double Mclaren World Championship next year, and for sure, seeing in some races Pedro in the top of the podium.

Ahora a ver si a la gente le gusta tal y como ha quedado o prefieren retocarlo.

como contribucion constructiva yo no mencionaria explicitamente ni el spygate (salvo que lo llamemos stepeney gate, esto es, que la culpa es de otro no de Ron) ni las tensas relaciones (por lo mismo) y lo dejaria con ... ha sido una temporada dificil ... todos sabemos de la gran consistencia que Pedro aporta ...

Por otro lado me parece una idea excelente mandar el mail a McLaren.

Hace una semana ya envié un mensaje a la dirección de prensa de la pagina oficial de Mclaren pero como era de esperar no tuve respuesta.
La verdad es que lo hice a titulo personal. Creo que si se envia una carta formal dirigida al management y en nombre del foro de Pedro tendrá mas relevancia.
He visto la carta que esta en el foro y me he tomado la libertad de pasarla a Inglés cambiando un poco la forma, pero no el contenido. He vivido mas de tres años en Londres y mi Inglés es muy correcto. Si quereis usarla ahí va:

We are writing this letter in order to make you aware of a initiative run by a group of Pedro De La Rosa fans which we represent, that have reached 14.000 signatures in a formal petition to support Pedro as second Mclaren driver in the 2008 line up
Although there are many Alonso fans in Spain, Pedro is supported by many F1 fans worldwide since his early racing years in Japan. He has earned a solid reputation through the years.

Last season was a very difficult one for Mclaren Mercedes, not only because of the spy case, but also due to the rare environment inside the team and the relationship between Lewis and Fernando. That’s why we think the team needs stability and reliability. Both features could be fulfilled by Pedro. Also note that having Pedro as second driver will make Lewis a better driver. He knows the team philosophy and he knows the car better than anyone in the F1 world. And for sure that he is willing to win races for Mclaren Mercedes.
We think Pedro is the best option by far. We would like to see Mclaren- Mercedes on the top of the constructors’ and drivers’ title and we know that Pedro as the second driver role is much better contribution to the team than as a test driver.
Note that in just one week and only using Internet, we have reached more than 14,000 signatures supporting Pedro. We have a dream. We see Pedro racing with a MP4-22 next year and we see him on the top of the podium. This is our dream and we are very close to see it becoming true. It depends on you.

Actually the opposite... with PdlR, there will be no need for any kind of policy, things will sort itself...



Kar dice: Si McLaren pone a De la Rosa en el otro asiento por encima de Kovalainen, puedes tener por seguro que han decidido y con una política de piloto número 1 y piloto número 2...

as65p le responde: Todo lo contrario, de hecho. Con PdlR no habrá necesidad de ningún tipo de política... Las cosas saldrán por sí solas (el piloto 1 y el piloto 2)

yo creo que si las leen aunque solo enviemos una e incluso aunque no respondan.

A este respecto se me ocurre que podemos ofrecerles algun medio de responder en el foro. a traves del webmaster por ejemplo y tambien que se podia incluir el ruego de que transmitan el contenido del mensaje a Pedro.


Estoy casi seguro que lo harian, al menos a algun auxiliar de prensa o algo asi que han de tener los pilotos, y que sin duda le comentara a Pedro el tema.

LEMEC Pedro está enterado de todo desde el 1º momento que hicimos esto, de hecho sigue muy de cerca todo lo que estamos haciendo.

La cuestión es informar a Mclaren, aunque supongo que a mi ya me tendrán como spam, jajaja. De todos modos en cuanto termineis la carta, yo la envio, faltaba mas.
