JONATHAN SUMMERTON - PROFILE

2009 - In his rookie season of Atlantic competition with Newman Wachs Racing, Summerton was one of three drivers to win multiple races, taking victories in the second race of doubleheaders at both Edmonton and Road America. He finished on the podium in five of 11 races and was sixth or better in seven starts en route to third in the championship. He also earned his first series pole at the Road Atlanta season finale.
2007-08 - Summerton competed in the A1GP series for Team USA, earning a victory at Shanghai.
2006 - Finished ninth in F3 Euroseries championship with a victory at Hockenheim and three podium results.
2005 - Finished 10th in European Formula BMW championship with a best result of second at Spa.
2004 - Finished third in Formula BMW USA championship with four victories, including a win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Won Formula BMW Scholarship in shootout at Valencia, Spain.
2002-03 - Won races and championships at various levels of karting.
