Alesi should retire. He probably wanted to finish the race as soon as possible.

Alesi was there to fill his contract.
Pedro was there to race and to prove he could go as quick as in Qualifying and during the warm-up. He knew that starting 22nd his chances of reaching 10th position were very small, not so say getting a point. However, he went out to fight. That's what he does always, that's what he was there for and that's is what he is paid for ! One is a "playboy" that has never done anything special. The other is a racer who only has one target : to win |
