Here in the UK all we got was how fantastic Jenson Button was this season when, in reality, he frequently qualified outside the top 10 and ran jarno trulli of the road twice.
In my opinion the 'surprise' driver of last season was Pedro. On 2 occasions he battled for a podium place only for his car to let him down. I can't believe he's been dropped. I was looking forward to watching him drive his 3rd year in F1 with another years experience under his belt and, hopefully, with a bit more power behind him. I hope he gets a seat at Prost or even Minardi. Go Pedro de la Rosa. And thanks for making the 2000 season more interesting by being one of only 4 or 5 drivers who mixed it with McLaren and Ferrari... |

Pedro deserved better, way better. Let's wish him well for the future. I'm quite sure we'll see him back in F1. Maybe at Minardi in 2001.
