F1: We Didn’t Push for Large Penalty, Says Whitmarsh
Written by: Adam Cooper, RACER Magazine Monte Carlo, Monaco – 12/6/2007 McLaren’s Martin Whitmarsh insists that the team did not push for the World Motor Sport Council to impose a large penalty on Renault. The contents of the briefing were discussed extensively in the hearing. Flavio Briatore has made no secret of the fact that his team might consider legal action in response, and the fact that Renault has been found not guilty of using that information to improve its car would seem lend weight to his cas |
