Hombre, creo que este señor sí que sabe algo de F1 y se le puede considerar "experto" como ejemplo de entre las muchas voces que sí pueden ser consideradas autorizadas cuando dicen que Hamilton es muy muy bueno.
Hill tips Hamilton for world title Britain’s last world champion Damon Hill believes it is not unrealistic to think that Lewis Hamilton can win the title in his first year of Formula 1. Hill hailed Hamilton as “the real deal” after watching the 22-year-old rookie claim his maiden grand prix win in Montreal on Sunday, and said his succession of stunning performances proved that he is an exceptional talent. “What an unbelievable win for Lewis,” Hill said. “People should not underestimate what he has achieved in an incredibly short space of time. “Yes, he’s with a good team, and yes, he’s got a good car, but to be winning grands prix, and be putting in performances like that race after race, takes something special.” Hill reckons Hamilton stands a real chance of winning the title, notwithstanding his inexperience. “He may be young and in his first season, but this guy is the real deal,” he said. “If you’re good enough in this sport, you’re old enough – and boy is Lewis good enough. “We shouldn’t get too carried away, but we could be looking at the next British world champion.” Hamilton’s victory is sure to boost ticket sales for next month’s British Grand Prix, which are already doing a roaring trade. As president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club, Hill relished the prospect of Hamilton winning on home soil. “With just four weeks to go until the British Grand Prix, it’s great news for British fans and British motorsport,” he said. “He’s leading the world championship and winning races, so his confidence will be sky-high. “He’s now got a great chance of winning the British Grand Prix, in front of his home crowd at Silverstone. “And he’s shown he can handle the pressure. Hill added: “One of the highlights of my career was winning my home race in 1994. “It means a huge amount to a driver to win in front of his home crowd, and it would be a dream come true for Lewis if he was to win at Silverstone.” No British driver has won his home event since David Coulthard took back-to-back victories in 1999 and 2000. A parte, darte la bienvenida al foro y remitirte al topic que te ha adjuntado mas arriba F399 donde se ha hablado muy mucho del tema. Edited by - Mike Watt on 11/06/2007 21:25:45 |
