Kimi Raikkonen and Team McLaren Mercedes have enjoyed a successful relationship for the past five years achieving nine victories, ten pole positions and scored 321 World Championship points. Only two drivers in Formula 1 at the moment enjoy longer relationships with their teams than Kimi and Team McLaren Mercedes.

The team has a number of options for the remaining seat alongside World Champion Fernando Alonso for 2007 and will make an announcement prior to the end of the year.

Following today's announcement regarding his future, the Team would like to thank Kimi for his contribution and wish him the very best. Whilst Kimi's 2007 plans are now announced both Kimi and the Team recognise there is still a job to do this season and will continue to push hard.

Que yo sepa, no he repetido ningún topic. En cierto modo, estoy de acuerdo en que podría ir esta información en el topic "Parrilla 2007". Soy consciente de lo que puse y de lo que hago. TRas revisar los topics de los últimos 12 meses, si lo he abierto, es por la incidencia que tiene que un aspirante a campeón del mundo cambie de equipo, y, además, lo que en concreto significa para el futuro de Pedro. Me parece una noticia de suficiente calado como para tener su topic, independientemente de que se rumoreara desde hace meses en otros topics, pero muchas veces ya sabemos que pasa con los rumores y hasta esta misma semana, con el anuncio de Kovalainen y la convocatoria de prensa de Ferrari, no se sabía nada fijo.

Pero creo que queda claro que no he repetido ningún topic ya abierto con el mismo título o similar. En la participación realizada por mí que pegas en tu post no creo que hayas leído nada más que se intente no repetir topics exactamente iguales que ya se hayan abierto.

Creo que es cuestión de criterios si esta noticia merece tener un topic propio o incluirla en el "parrilla 2007" o en el de "Noticias". Yo te he explicado por qué consideré que debería abrirse, pero nada tiene que ver con repetir topics ya abiertos anteriormente, que es lo único que aconsejaba en mi post.

No dudo que si queremos rizar el rizo, podemos quedarnos con 10 ó 12 topics, pero me conformo con evitar estrictas redundancias como son aquellas a las que me referí.

No obstante, agradezco que te hayas tomado tan en serio el post de referencia,...que cunda el ejemplo..
