De un tiempo a esta parte, al leer el nombre del ex-piloto seleccionado como consejero de los comisarios para el GP en curso, empiezo a sospechar que tras la elección se esconden los intereses económicos de una de las partes (FIA o ex-piloto) o el bajó caché de los seleccionados, independientemente de su historial deportivo en la F1...

Es que les faltaba uno para la timba del sábado noche, en la que deciden sus intervenciones de cara a que las posiciones de la carrera del domingo queden de acuerdo a como tienen que quedar. Faltaría plus. Y un semidesconocido en Europa no va a hacer tanto ruido como... Irvine

La verdad es que no es un tema que me haya fijado mucho, pero algunos de ellos creo que sí han sido pilotos con carisma. Damon Hill o Frentzen, por ejemplo.

Por otra parte, pienso que para Pedro sería muy importante tener algún punto en su casillero antes de que llegue Septiembre, que siempre ha dicho que será un mes clave para su futuro.

De la Rosa expecting tougher weekend in Germany

BMW Sauber's Pedro de la Rosa is expecting to have a tougher fight to qualify inside the top ten and finish in the points this weekend in Germany, despite the team performing strongly a fortnight ago in Silverstone. Pedro qualified ninth for the British Grand Prix, before team-mate Kobayashi raced to sixth, but this weekend could be much tougher for the Swiss outfit.
