Bueno, estoy animado para escribir ahora
La verdad que hacia mucho que no hacía una carrera tan buena.
En la qualy me salió un tiempo bastante pobre, pero los tiempos de Pilotillo y Dido eran inalcanzables para mi, asi que perfecto, tercero.
En la salida el capullo de Juan Luis, que se lo tiene muy creido, nos intentó hacer una jugarreta con la bandera, dando el banderazo "a pillar", pero salí bien y conservé la tercera posición con Nieva por detrás y ahí comienza el espectáculo. Yo fuí a todo lo que daba... viendo los tiempos por vuelta... no podía ir ni una décima más rápido y haciendo valer mi mejor coche, mantuve a raya a Nieva durante 12 vueltas. En el Sweep y en Sunset se me pegaba al cogote, llegando a meterme el morro en alguna ocasión, haciendo gala de su enorme calidad como pilotillo y yo me distanciaba un poco en el resto del circuito haciendo gala de mejor coche Todo un espectáculo ver a Nieva por los retrovisores haciendo unas cruzadas increibles. Además él estaba luchando también con otro pilotillo, asi que si quereis ver espectáculo, mirar las 12 primeras vueltas siguiendo a Nieva.
Casi todo terminó para mi en la vuelta 13. Dido por delante debió tener algun problema y le había recortado bastante tiempo. Delante de mi iba un coche algo distanciado el cual pensé que era Dido. En el Sweep, que era cuando más tenía que apretar para que no me pasara Nieva me acerqué a él y en la frenada a Sunset perdí completamente la referencia (que por cierto, no tengo, ya que siempre freno a boleo en esa curva) y le di por detrás. Al final resultó ser Mardor que iba doblado. Él quedó volcado y yo pude seguir, reincorporandome séptimo a carrera y posteriormente, no se porque, me vi sexto y así llegué a meta.
En definitiva, y como resúmen: lo pasé como un enano
Enhorabuena a Pilotillo y a Dido, que iban como obuses y a Nieva, que es un fenómeno.

Memo, si ver a Nieva por los retrovisores en un espectaculo, imagina ir rodando detras suyo,... hay que ver como mueve ese BRM!, sus derrapadas, y como aprovecha toda la pista y algo mas , la malo es que tenia que comerme todo la tierra que iba lenvantando, cof cof, .
La verdad es que me lo pase mejor que nunca en esta carrera, mañana o pasado ya os cuento mi cronica con mas tiempo.

Carrera nefasta donde las haya...
En las prácticas sólo pude dar 3 o cuatro vueltas con mucho tráfico antes de que el pc se colgara y tuviera que reiniciar...llegue por los pelos y sólo pude dar una vuelta para clasificarme 13 con un tiempo de 1:25 sinceramente creo que hubiera bajado a 1:23 bajo que era lo que estaba consiguiendo estos dias...
Con las prisas, olvido quitar el setup estandar para la carrera, con lo que salgo cargado con combustible para 108 vueltas, al principio no me dí cuenta, sólo notaba que el coche no tenia agarre en curva y que los frenos no eran efectivos (por el peso), eso me hizo perder posiciones rapidamente por las salidas de pista que tuve (afortunadamente sin daños), tuve una bonita pelea con Thund por la 10 plaza (no podia aspirar a más en esas condiciones, auque cargado a tope pude hacer un 1:26), intenté apartarme lo mejor que pude cuando empezaron a doblarme, pero desgraciadamente no me dió tiempo a apartarme para dejar pasar a Memo que venía pasado en la T4, me alcanzó por detrás y ahí se acabó mi carrera, aunque se trunco la de Memo que por suerte pudo seguir y acabar 6º.
Por fin se terminó el calvario de kyalami, solo espero que las cosas en Mexico mejoren

Bueno, pues yo tambien estoy de humor para deleitaros ya con mis eufóricos comentarios sobre la carrera

Llegué a este circuito pensando que me iba a ir tan mal como siempre, con salidas de pista suficientes como para que franky pudiese hacer un video de los accidentes más tontos del campeonato. Asín que me dediqué a entrenar y buscar un setup decente y cómodo...al final lo encontré y llegué a la carrera algo más confiado.

En los entrenos parecía que la maldición de kyalami se mantenía, no conseguía hacer una buena vuelta. Al final ya me estaba poniendo nervioso, me concentré y me salió un 20.7...de golpe, parecía que una luz procedente de los dioses me iluminaba, y no me iba a dejar abandonado para la carrera...

Bueno, salía segundo detrás de Dido, y delante de memo, pero no estaba seguro de que mi ritmo de carrera fuese lo bastante bueno como para aguantarles. Juan Luis, como ha dicho memo, intentó darle emoción al asunto y bajó la bandera muy rápido, pero esta vez no consiguió demasiado. Salí mejor que dido y al llegar a la primera curva intenté pasarle, pero tomé precauciones y me quedé detrás suyo, que era la primera vuelta y no quería sustos.

En las primeras vueltas me mantengo a unos 3 segundos detrás suyo y con memo a otros tantos por detrás, el ritmo era muy parecido con lo que tenía que concentrarme en no hacer ningún error, mantener la posición y ver si podía alcanzar a dido...pero de nuevo los dioses hicieron de las suyas y dido se salió en T1 en la vuelta 10, con lo que me dejó en primera posición. Poco a poco fui distanciandome (él era un poco más rápido, pero cometió algún error) y así hasta el final...así que, contra todo pronóstico, victoria y además consistencia, hala!!

Bueno, felicitar a Dido, que hizo una gran carrera con el brabby y podría haber ganado, a Nieva porque sigue tan impresionante como siempre , y a todos los demás participantes.

Nos vemos en Mexico...ahí seguro que Mexoco con un neumático...Bueno, no escribo más, que me emociono y empiezo a decir demasiadas tonterias

Por lo visto, fantástica carrera para algunos que os lo pasesteis genial luchando con emoción a pesar de "los incidentes", aunque Kyalami ha dejado a otros algo más decepcionados. Lo siento.

Sea como sea, ente todo enorabuena a los campeones: Pilotillo, Dido y Nieva

Además, parece que Nieva estuvo soberbio y dio un espectáculo increíble . Qué pena no verlo... Felicidades Nieva . Pues va a ser verdad que sabe "equilibrar" bien los coches independientemente del bólido sobre el que se siente al volante.

Al pobre Franky no sé qué le pasó en la vuelta 17, pero yo sólo leo: "Ogle, Thund, Xug, Julián, Memo, Carlos overtakes Fran Guillén" y, al final... "retires Cooper" Qué mala suerte. En méxico cambiarán las cosas, seguro

Y Memo se lo está pasando en grande este campeonato. Me alegro. Que siga la racha.

Un abrazo a todos, sobre todo a los que "sufristeis" más en carrera

Ls que me pudisteis doblar (o sea, TODOS ya os disteis cuenta de que mi ritmo y velocidad eran ANORMALMENTE lentos (a ver, el graciosillo que ha dicho que no notó nada, que dé un paso al frente si tiene cojinetes) y, por ejemplo, en la recta ni podía apurar la 3ª. La solución, a veces, era desconectar los pedales (así se resetean) y volvía a funcionar mejor. Pero claro, no conseguí llegar a coger ningún ritmo de carrera (haber quedado último de regularidad así lo demuestra) ni nada.
Para mí que una de las filas de cilindros se quedaba sin encendido...
En fin, que pese a todo estuvo bien, y he quedado en un sorprendentee inmerecido 10º puesto, pero se hizo bueno aquelo de que "quien la sigue, la consigue", ya que estuve a punto de abandonar en las primeras vueltas, pero sabía que por abandonos podía "buitrear" alguna que otra posición... Y una posición, un punto!!!
Espero no haber estorbado a ninguno en los doblajes, ni siquiera a los que tienen vocación de cabra montesa y prefieren ir por lo verde en plena recta . Pero bueno, de todo tiene que haber en la viña del Señor, no?

Por cierto, la participación de Xavy está por duplicado, o sea que fuimos "sólo" 16 (contando a Seninha y a Pepe Mompo, que no puntuarán al no haber completado la primera vuelta)

Kyalami se presta siempre a buenas carreras, me alegro que lo pasárais bien.
Faltamos los Honda, que os hubieramos dado mucha guerra en éste circuito.

Al final me siento satisfecho de mi carrera de ayer ya que por fin conseguí terminar una carrera en Kyalami, cosa que no había logrado en las dos anteriores ediciones del campeonato y además, rebajando mi mejor tiempo personal en entrenamientos.

Como con el nuevo sistema ahora los entrenamientos calificatorios son más largos, experimenté con mis setups habituales para este circuito –los de WW- pero con menos gasolina. Mi idea era marcar una buena vuelta pronto y después dedicarme a rodar en plan entrenamientos (apenas he podido entrenar para esta carrera). Todo fue según lo previsto (el pedal del freno me respetó y no se estropeó en ningún momento) y en la quinta vuelta marqué un 1:22,9 con el que ya me daba por satisfecho. Una vez logrado el tiempo que buscaba me propuse arriesgar un poco más hasta acabar con la poca gasolina que me quedaba. Así, sin darme cuenta, marqué mi PB absoluto 1:22,272, un tiempo asombroso para lo que esperaba. Entonces me dediqué a probar el coche con gasolina para 25 vueltas. Me sorprendió muchísimo su comportamiento, tenía que frenar mucho antes y aún así era difícil de pasarlo por las curvas. Veía la cosa difícil y hasta pensé que era a causa del pedal de freno, pero no, con lo cual intenté rodar lo máximo posible antes de que acabaran los entrenos para acostumbrarme a este comportamiento. Estaba preocupado porque veía dificilísimo pasar la primera vuelta (que te da acceso a los puntos) sin problemas... Finalmente clasifiqué sexto, un puesto magnífico para lo que estoy acostumbrado.

La salida me fue bastante bien a pesar de que Juan Luis subió y bajó la bandera al instante, salí con mucha prudencia y aunque un Cooper (supongo que Franky) me tomó la delantera, al llegar a T1 estaba a su altura y en el interior pero procuré dejarle mucho sitio para que no hubiera problemas y por suerte, así fue, en T2 también tuve una apurada rueda con rueda con un Lotus (creo que Katana) en la que finalmente cedí, con la lucha quedé descolocado para esta difícil curva (sobre todo en la primera vuelta) y toqué algo de hierba: excursión al canto –por suerte sin golpearme con nada ni nadie. Me pasaron varios coches y me vi penúltimo o casi...

A partir de aquí tuvieron lugar las tres vueltas más emocionantes que he tenido hasta ahora en el GPL. ¡Me sentía como PDLR en Bahrein! apurando frenadas, enseñando el morro, presionando y adelantando con todas las de la ley. La verdad es que aún no sé cómo lo hice ni cómo me atreví, pero el caso es que fueron luchas limpias y preciosas y tengo que agradecer a los que adelanté por no forzar demasiado ninguna situación y espero no haberles molestado yo con mis acciones. En cualquier caso, muchísimas gracias por hacerme disfrutar tanto: Xavy Guillén, Mardor y Xug.

Al haber calificado sexto, y tras el error en T2, sabía que me habrían pasado varios pilotillos que serían más lentos que yo y, con inusitada decisión me propuse adelantarlos cuanto antes. Así, tras estas vueltas alucinantes y alucinadas en las que sobrepasé a los tres mencionados, me encontré rodando en solitario en octava posición. Tras la tensión de la lucha cerrada vino la relajación y con la relajación el error. En la quinta vuelta toqué la tierra al salir de T3 y se me descontroló el coche yéndose de frente hacia el quitamiedos, por suerte lo pude controlar y el golpe, flojito, fue totalmente con las ruedas izquierdas de costado. Estaba temeroso de haber fastidiado el comportamiento del coche, y así lo noté durante varias vueltas (me costaba meter el coche en las curvas), pero la concentración extra para mantenerme en pista hizo que rodara con bastante regularidad y tranquilidad a partir de ahí. Katana estaba lejísimos (unos quince segundos) y posteriormente fue mi compañero Memo el que me precedía, en cualquier caso, no tenía posibilidad alguna de alcanzarlos y Xug por detrás no me inquietaba puesto que se iba alejando a cada vuelta, así que me dediqué a dejar pasar vueltas, siempre en octava posición.

Finalmente, a tres vueltas de la bandera a cuadros, gané una posición por la retirada de Franky y además alcancé a un coche al que me acercaba muy poco a poco. La tabla me marcaba que quien me precedía era Memo y aquel coche era un Eagle (creo que Thund) así que me debatía entre el instinto de pilotillo de alcanzarle e intentar pasarle –a veces la tablilla falla, pensé- y la certeza de saber que se trataba de un doblado y que sólo tenía cosas que perder en una lucha a falta de un par de vueltas. De todas formas intenté acercarme y pasarle, pero sin arriesgar nada de nada, y aún así no pude, me faltaron un par de vueltas para poder intentar algo; al menos así estuve entretenido las últimas vueltas. Al final séptimo y, como he dicho al principio, satisfecho.

Primero felicitarle a Pilotillo Xavi por su carrera perfecta y muy merecido primer puesto, y Nieva por su tercer puesto esperando de que le alegre los malos tragos del GPLE
Mención especial para Danich, aguantar los ataques del endiablado Nieva como lo has echo tiene merito!

Yo estoy contento con la segunda plaza, pole y vuelta rapida ya que por fin despego en la lucha por el campeonato.
Pero no he rodado muy a gusto en la carrera, estaba demasiado tenso por miedo a fallar y quedarme relegado en lo bajo de la clasificación, como me pasó en las dos anteriores carreras, y por esta razón cometí unos errores que me hicieron perder el liderazgo.
Tampoco estoy muy a gusto con el Brabham, me parece un coche rapido casi como el Ferrari pero bastante más dificil de llevar a tope con seguridad y consistencia.

La carrera no tiene mucha historia, salgo medianamente bien pero tengo que aflojar para controlar un medio derrape.
En T1 consigo quedarme con el liderazgo y empiezo a despegarme de Aldea, hasta la vuelta 10 donde bloqueo las ruedas y me salgo al cesped sin chocar con nada sino perder una cantidad considerable de segundos. Aldea se pone por delante, me esfuerzo para recuperarle pero me salgo de pista otra vez y mas tarde doy un trompo de 360 grados, entonces prefiero calmarme y no arriesgar una más que aceptable segunda posición.
Intentaré conseguir mi primera victoria en Mexico, aunque será más dificil habiendo el equipo COSWARCH en pista
