Me la he perdido, y justo cuando llego veo en la pantalle P9 de DLR, increible!!!!
Veo a Pedro a tope con rabia y con ganas de demostrar lo bueno que es.
Manyana sera un gran dia para el y para su aficion, seguro que si.

Sin saber si ha tenido algún problema (lo que curiosamente siempre presupone en favor de Fernando cuando el resultado no es el esperado), ha empezado a decir que no hace labor de equipo, que con un puesto así no ayuda a Fernando etc.

Lo dicho, vomitivo. ¿Pero quién se cree el lameculos este?

MUY GRANDE PEDRO!

Casi se me saltan las lágrimas. Por fin la recompensa al trabajo impecable de toda la temporada, especialmente en estas dos últimas citas del calendario.

P9 meritorio y merecido gracias al trabajo soberbio de este sábado. Pedro ha estado muy por encima de Koba y no hace más que corroborar que no ha perdido ni un ápice de punch.

Mañana a ver si con un poco de suerte remata la faena! Empujamos tod@s!

Tio por favor, quitate la fotito del Jaguar y ponte el Sauber!!!!

British GP - Qualifying

Pedro de la Rosa achieved his best qualifying result of the season so far when he finished ninth in Silverstone. It was the fourth time this year the team had made it into the top ten qualifying with one car, and for the first time it was De la Rosa. Team mate, Kamui Kobayashi, qualified 12th for tomorrows British Grand Prix.

I am a very happy man today. It was not only my best qualifying this year, but also the best Saturday because in free practice this morning my car was very good. We learned a lot during Fridays practice sessions and made a lot of changes, aerodynamically as well as mechanically. Now my car is very consistent. Ahead of the weekend we thought we would be quite good here because of the high speed corners, and it has turned out we are. It is good to match expectations. The new parts we took to Valencia worked and the small steps we have for Silverstone are an improvement too.

Qualifying: 12th / 1.31.421 min (in Q2) / 3rd Practice: 14th / 1:31.947 min (16 laps)
The overall performance of the car has definitely improved, but today I found it extremely difficult to put a good lap together. I got it right in one corner, but wrong in the next. Sometimes the grip was there, sometimes it wasnt. I struggled from a lack of consistency. The race is a different story and from 12th on the grid there is certainly a good chance to score points.

Peter Sauber, Team Principal:
For the first time this season our lap times in qualifying have been competitive and this certainly is pleasing.

James Key, Technical Director:
We had anticipated this track would suit our car better than some others, but we needed to work a lot after we arrived here. The engineers did an excellent job to get the cars balance right. In the morning session you could see we had made a good step forward, so our target was to get to Q3. It was a brilliant drive from Pedro. He put in a superb lap for his best qualifying result so far this season. Kamui also did very well coming so close to Q3, and he just missed it by a tenth of a second. We will now concentrate on the race tomorrow and hope to score some more points.

Estaba en un restaurante de Madrid comiendo y cuando se ha confirmado la entrada de Pedro en Q3 y luego su 9ª plaza he pegado un brinco de aupa. La gente me ha mirado raro pero un chaval me ha aplaudido, se ha imaginado el motivo de mi alegría.

Sabía que Pedro iba a triunfar en un Silverstone seco. Es el mejor circuito junto a Suzuka para conocer el valor y la calidad de un piloto.

Bien por Pedro. Esperemos que mañana todo acompañe y triunfemos en Gran Bretaña

Jolín, ¡¡qué parco!!

En el comunicado se le ve mucho el plumero a Sauber con la estrategia que lleva con Pedro y como está siendo premeditado y artificial. Le tiene sentenciado, es obvio, pero si Pedro sigue así el año que viene tendrá volante en la F1, no me cabe duda.

Eso es lo que parece desde fuera, pero bueno Pedro es quien mejor sabrá si realmente se siente apoyado al 100% en su equipo, yo confio que sí. En cualqueir caso, lo importante es que Pedro hable en la pista, y si luego Peter Sauber le cita más o menos me da igual.

Venga Pedro, mañana a seguir con este buen trabajo y meterte en los puntos, a cuchillo !
